the hotel is new and still very nice and clean. It is rated as a 3 star hotel but, I can say that I have stayed in worse 4 star hotels before. The location is not central but it was exactly what I wanted: to avoid to drive in and out of the city center. Free parking, good breakfast. in my case, really nothing... but I thing that there is nothing much to see and do in walking distance. |

Very good welcome and even though I checked in "early" no mention was made but the receptionist sent her colleague off to check if my room was ready (it wasn't so they looked at another and gave me that). The room was very large, good bathroom and large flat screen TV. Wifi coverage didn't work when I first tried but was fine a bit later - I think because I was in a room right at the end of the corridor maybe the signal could suffer. If it's important though there is also a laptop in the lobby you can use. Breakfast was excellent in the German fashion of muesli, youghurt, breads and cheeses. A few hot choices of sausage, eggs etc that I didn't try. Location is not great being out of town and no restaurant for the evening nearby, but a McDonalds just over the road in case of emergencies. It's 5 minutes drive to the centre so no biggie. |

There was nothing I liked. The whole atmosphere was horrible The dirty microwave, no towels left in our room for 2 days in a row, the loud screaming and laughing coming from the lobby until 1 am, the fact we were told that the hotel was directly next to the zoo, the toilets were never cleaned although I told houskeeping my son threw up in there. |

It was a very well designed and comfortable hotel. The free internet was very useful. Moreover, I have not had such breakfast before. Thank you. The hotel is a little far from the city center but you can reach there in 5 min. by a public bus. |

Hotel was new and clean. Pleasant staff. Loaner umbrellas. Great breakfast buffet. Reasonably located to explore the city on foot or by public transportation. Free internet. No air conditioning. Although having lived in Karlsruhe for a number of years I don't think the weather will make this an issue very often. |

The staff was very friendly. The hotel was modern and groovy. The breakfast buffet was hands-down the best ever. Loved the gummy bears around the lobby. The extra bed in our room was not that comfortable,but this was to be expected. |

The Hotel Aviva is extremely new and clean. The design is very modern and open with many windows and 'hip' lamps, chairs and other furnishings. The bathroom is large and clean. The breakfast, which is included, is incredible, with anything you'd like including bacon and eggs, cereal, yogurt, etc etc. During a particularly hot spell here, we asked the staff for a fan (ventilator), which they didn't have, but they promptly went out and bought many fans. The wlan/wifi is free and easy-to- use. All around excellent hotel. |

The staff was excellent, and the breakfast provided was great. there was no aircondition.and no fans offered ,plus the rooms were real small. The shower was a joke. |

Good variety for breakfast. Free Internet. This hotel is not finished: some rooms miss their wardrobe, my room had seemingly one lamp missing, judging by the electricity cable running out of the wall. No restaurant or bar. I finally discovered a restaurant 200m from hotel but staff didn't know about it. Internet is wireless, and staying at the end of the lobby leads to a low signal quality. |

Beeindruckend war das reichhaltige und sehr schmackhafte Frühstücksangebot. Das Angebot innerhalb Europas kostenlos in das Festnetz telefonieren zu können ist ebenfalls vorbildlich Das Zimmer war für zwei Reisende etwas knapp bemmessen. |

Gefallen hat mir die Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter, das Frühstücksbuffet, die Ruhe und die vielen zur Verfügung stehenden Parkplätze Die doch sehr steile Treppe zum Eingang, die sehr eng gefassten Räumlichkeiten in der Loggia und dem Frühstücksraum. |
