The rooms were kind of ok but I disliked the hotel before I even got there after rude responses to my requests before arrival. I would never recommend this hotel or stay there again, not even for free.
Extremely rude staff Internet only worked in some rooms, never in mine. Wellness center and sauna were closed for good. Restaurant and bar were hardly ever open. Too far from Messe to use it in the name. Too far from public transportation.
Cleanliness was perfect,staff quite friendly
Location was way out of the city centre, not too close to the tram station and taxi cant be easily gotten unless the hotel staff calls one for you,no fridge in the rooms and not even an intercom to help call the attention of the hotel staff when you need something,Restaurant closes at weekends on time meaning no dinner if you get in late because no shopping malls close by or eatries...wont stay here for anything again
Friendly and helpful staff. Prompt cleaning.
The mist formed at the window dripped into the room and on the floor.
Most of the personnel was very helpful. The room was very clean The breakfast was OK and the personnel perfect!
1) the location in the middle of no where 2) the lack of essential comfort; very poor light, no telephone in the room to contact the reception, no one mirror in the room, no one hanger for coats et.c. Uncomfortable beds, Freezing bathroom ( permanently 19 degrees ) and hardly 21 in the room
We had a comfortable room, with lots of space and a small kitchen. The beds are okay.
Inconvenient location, we had to take cab everywhere. The nearest restaurant is 5-10 minutes drive away. The staff were unfriendly and we were approached with an attitude when we informed them that the locker of the room was broken. They were not keen on finding solutions for us.
The bed was not comfortable at all.. You can't reach the reception from your room, you have to come down all the time.
Everything was fine, clean, warm, quiet. Good price.
10-15 min walk to tram, next to German version of B&Q.
Wifi unreachable at the room and very low signal in lobby and if you were lucky and connect almost not useable.
I have paid very less amount online to book the hotel, it was close to exhibition centre. Just about 20 minutes walk one way
Their toilet stinks, I have stayed in room number 231 for about 6 nights. No tea or coffee maker in the room
We had a fantastic room! Great facilities, great bed, spacious living and working room (3 rooms overall). The bathroom had a very modern design. Overall conditions were fantastic.
Although we loved the hotel and the room, it seems we were plagued by bad luck which hopefully won't reflect if you will ever visit it. It all started with the 2 TVs not working (was promptly fixed after 2 visits), the WiFi was really bad and the heating wasn't working. After they provided us an electric heater, we were fine again though
To be completely honest, there was nothing I liked about the hotel. Probably only that the room we stayed in was well cleaned.
- Slow Internet connection (can't do business) - No air conditioning or heating (we were freezing) We had to sleep on a small double bed instead of a large double bed. We were extremely unhappy because we even wrote it while booking the hotel that we would like to have a large bed. But before we got to the room we had to walk for about 15 minutes inside the hotel. What we saw were two small single beds that are connected. We went back to reception and demanded another room. It was very cold and uncomfortable. It was 18 degrees Celsius inside the room and the heating/air conditioning wasn't working. Overall, the hotel isn't anything around 4-stars, more like 2-stars. Extremely rude and unprofessional staff, bad location (10 mins away from nearest train station), unstable and slow Internet connection. If you want to enjoy your stay in the beautiful city of Leipzig - better stay elsewhere.
I liked to listen sound of the night train really.Good bed and big room.
Automatic light in the WC. Glass wall in WC. Long way from tram to the hotel by empty dark streets.
location outside, restaurant only from 17.00, no pub / bar during the day, no restaurants / pubs nearby, pblic traffic minimum 10 minitues away
What I liked most about my room was its cleaniness. There were a coffee maker and microwave in my room which I find handy for a long stay.
This hotel is near a train railway, therefore you have to expect to get a loud room. I booked a quiet room but got a loud one. There were no phone in my room, so for any question I had to go downstairs to the reception desk. It is almost impossible to walk from Messe to the hotel when it's dark. I had to use my mobile's light to see where I put my feet. Also a drunk stranger who was riding a bike intentionally tried to scare me. Either he wanted to get my bag or just to touch me, anyway his hand contacted my body...but I'm happy that he passed by very fast.
The staff is very friendly, and the breakfast is fine. Everything is excellent for your money. A good choice!
for 22 euros we got perfect 5 star room
Value for money Rooms are very clean and comfortable
WIFI in rooms is not working You can walk to the Leipzig conference centre from the hotel, but it's quite far (+/- 20 min.) and there aren't any houses along the way. So in the late afternoon/evening you should take a taxi. The hotel is quite far from the nearest busstop
huge badroom huge bathroom freeparking
no fridge very far from center you need the tram to get downtown.
nice staff clean room good location
Modern furniture in the room.
Breakfast was rather basic (e.g. not much fresh fruit). I had a nice view of the highway from my window. You have to walk 15 mins to the next public transport station. No english TV channels. No electric kettle or similar things that would remind you of a four-star hotel.
It is very far from public transport.
New generation style, near by the highway
Poor choice for the breakfast
Price and great service from front desk.
Internet doesn't work. No telephone in room. To talk to receptionist we must go down to desk. Train nearby. No restaurants in area. Had to eat at hotel.
We booked three rooms. We all felt the staff were extremely rude and it was an effort for them to speak to people. The beds and pillows were hard. The food in the restaurant was overpriced for the quality. The coffee at breakfast was aweful. There wasn't a very good breakfast selection. Why have a kitchenette in the rooms if you have no utensils? No cups, plates or cutlery. The wifi access was atrocious. I would not recommend it to anyone.
