This hotel features a large sun terrace with views of the Kiel Fjord and the surrounding beach. Hotel Admiral Scheer offers maritime-themed accommodation in the Baltic sea-side town of Laboe.
Score from 227 reviews Very good
The most stylish hotel I've ever seen! Very nice room, everything was new, good Internet, good breakfast.
Nice and comfortable room. Good value for your money.
Nothing negative about the hotel, but the city center of Kiel var not a pleasant experience with many alcoholics and an intense smell of urine.
1. The excellent service provided by the management and staff - managers Melanie and Frank were friendly and efficient, as was the friendly woman who helped at breakfast 2. Quietness of the rooms, which were very effectively soundproofed 3. Breakfast was good quality and good value 4. Rooms were comfortable and clean
Price, good air con, clean and comfortable
No reception desk open over the weekend until 5pm which were not made aware of.
Breakfast was very good
Good location. It has car park. If full there's another car park just "by the wall" but you have to pay. Not expensive if you get used to prices for car park in Oxford lol
Great place if you just want to sleep. Clean and comfortable beds.
Easy to find,Good parking,Not bad location to the town,Very helpful staff.
All the road works outside, Hope they will be finish soon.Ask for a room away from the railway,
Helpfullness of the staff
Ugly view of train tracks, very basic accomodation.
Everything was superb and great
nothing, but I would recommend a small fridge in every room.
The rooms were great, beds comfortable, the staff were really friendly and the breakfast buffet was really good. The rooms had air condition which was great as it was 30* outside. We had a nice view of the harbour while our friends in another room had a view of some train rails. Very clean and new rooms. Great value for money.
The pillows were really bad! The location is so-so; central as it is a 5 minute walk from the central station but there is really nothing by the hotel other than a heavy-traffic road and train rails. It would have been great if the place had a small bar and if there was the possibility to sit outside on the lawn
German quality. Hotel - automat.
located close to train station and harbour
good location near the main train station, air conditioning was OK
stains and chewing gum in the bathroom (bad cleaning before our arrival), only one blanket and towel in twin room (second pair we found in the wardrobe), windows into busy street, not good impression at all
I have booked the hotel because it has good reviews. Two stars may scare but it has nothing to do with states of room&service. Checking reviews gave the idea about the hotel and it was a reason I have book this one instead of higher rated. If you are looking for good night stay in clean room with wifi then this one is perfect.
The coffee was the best we'd had all holiday, very good food for breakfast, excellent location and very friendly staff
very good location in city centre
Location. Hotel was right next to the train station and a 10 minute walk to the downtown area.
It is a block away from the Bus Station (the bus coming from the Hamburg airport) and from the train station.
Due to check in after 14:00 when new guests are coming before that time, there is no storage room for the luggage.
Assistance provided by staff at the reception desk
Variety of items for Breakfast
We liked the location of this hotel being relatively close to the cruise line terminal without being too expensive. We also liked the fact that it was very clean with excellent linen.
Helpful smiling staff, decent breakfast, nice facility. A great value all-around in a really interesting city, and we would absolutely go back.
Location (for a hotel experience) less than brilliant, but for the money and convenience absolutely OK. Turn off the main road for hotel parking should be marked much more clearly, easy to miss. Tedious check-in with room code cards could probably be automated.
Very close to train station and excellent everything including breckfast which was extra but very wort while
