Centrally located in Dresden's Old Town, free Wi-Fi internet access and a complimentary, hearty breakfast buffet each morning, this hotel/hostel is an excellent choice for all travelers.
Score from 1929 reviews Excellent
This hotel is in the heart of Dresden, a 5-minute walk from the Zwinger Palace, Semper Opera and Frauenkirche Church. The ibis Budget has free Wi-Fi and a 24-hour front desk.
Score from 2072 reviews Very good
This hotel is just over a quarter mile from Dresden Main Station and a 10-minute walk from Dresden’s world-famous Old Town district. It has air-conditioned rooms and a 24-hour bar.
Score from 1952 reviews Good
Located across from the Japanese Palace in the Neustadt district of Dresden, this non-smoking, designer hotel has air-conditioned rooms, a 24-hour bar, underground parking and free Wi-Fi.
Score from 1310 reviews Excellent
About a 15 min walk to the Aldstadt, clean and comfortable rooms, parking included.
The WiFi was terrible and we never got it to work. Staff was also incredibly unhelpful in the one regard (very helpful with other issues). The hotel is an easy walk to the Aldstadt, but other than that there really isn't anything nearby. There is one small bakery, but they're only open M-F and there are very limited food options after 2100.
Close to the center (Zwinger), clean, fast wifi and new furniture (I suppose rather newly opened).
Cold, distant staff at the reception - a very formal greeting at the welcome and the price were almost the only words from them during the two nights stay; we were not allowed to leave our car in the hotel parking (just for few hours) over the time for the departure (even though we offered to pay for it) and were advised rather expensive parking in the underground garage by Zwinger.
Lack of welcom
Automatic check-in procedure is really great. The reception is closed after 10pm, but the machine at the entrance will give you the key and accept the payment. Single room was pretty small but nice and comfortable.
Hot/cold water was difficult to adjust. Wi-Fi connection requires password that is sent via SMS, and this did not work for me at all. I was lucky to catch open network from another hotel on the opposite side of the street.
Place closely to the center, good wifi
breakfast too expensive
Good value for money and good parking.
A little but lacking in character and too generic, but good value for money.
ten minutes walking to the city centre small but very well equiped and tidy new room good value for that money
a little bit noisy in the morning (situated on the corner of quite busy crossing)
Good parking area,near tram&bus station.
You have to receive wifi password via SMS,but I did't use data roaming for my mobile so I can't receive the SMS.
Location Breakfast Parking
It is nice, comfy, and server the purpose in excellent ways. Also, I liked that I had to leave the room only by 12, not 10, which is the usual. It gives you more space to enjoy your stay.
The tap and the sink in the bathroom. It is just weird.
Room was spacious, modern, neat and clean. Staff were friendly and efficient. Good value for money.
Location is a bit far away from the major transportation and shopping area.
It was cheap for Germany (but not compared to its eastern neighbours. The hotel was very clean and neat and well organized. The staff was nice.
Loging on to wifi was made way too difficult (nothing unreal but more struggle than necessary) and the internet was really slow. The room did not have enough power outlets and they were located in stupid places.
good location, not far from the S-Bahn and Dresden old town; comfortable bed; free Wi-Fi
receptionist was competent but not really friendly; the rooms on the lowest floor are a little bit scary, you can see the people's heads, when they walk in front of your window; additional cost for leaving luggage at the reception
This hotel is a good place to stay, with clean comfortable rooms. Breakfast is enough, with all the basics available. The old town is about a 10 minute walk away.
The hotel is isolated with no obvious bars or restaurants to be seen in the immediate area. On the direct walk to the old town we found one beerkeller with food and of course beer.
The breakfast was good.
The staff was not friendly at all. The room was too small. There was no hairdryer so we asked in the reception if we could borrow one. They wanted a 10 euro guarantee for a hairdryer that did not work. Not only did it not work but a colleague almost had an electric shock.
+ very good breakfasts + good location + big and free parking + clean room + stable Wi-Fi
- smell of sewage in bathrooms - can't open window at night because of noise from thye street - crowds at breakfast - no hairdryer in room - too expensive for it's standard
breakfastand the possitive use of every little place.
Not all of the staff was kindly. There isn´t any free computer at disposal.
This hotel is well-served by Dresden's excellent integrated transport system. The staff are very helpful and there is a choice of different types of room.
The hotel only serves breakfast & there is a limited choice of restaurants within walking distance.
Good position very near train and tram stops. Clean comfortable rooms. Good wifi. Enjoyed B&b hotel.
The single room was clean, spacious, very good WiFi signal in the room and personal service was excellent.
Clean but small room
You have to order and pay for the breakfast before 22:00. Try to order it by phone because we were not at the hotel before 22:00, the receptionist said this was not possible. You had to pay as well. After offering to pay straight away at arrival, he sais this was not possible either and broke the line!!!
B&B is an European network hotel-group, with proper standard.
weak car parking place,
Good location to train station.
Staff left customers standing waiting for 15-20 minutes, while he attended to a potential customer on the phone.
Location was within walking distance of the main downtown areas and attractions. Breakfast had a good selection and was satisfying. Free parking on site.
Some problems getting connected to Wi-Fi. Staff at check-in was hard to understand. Rooms were small, but adequate.
