Bülow Residenz    

This is an elegant, comfortable hotel in excellent location for visiting the city. The young staff is enthusiastic, welcoming and advised us on places to visit and eat and the food was delicious.

A very nice hotel in Dresden-Neustadt, very close to the famous city center. However, do not miss visiting also the hotel's neighbourhood with a variety of small shops and restaurants. The wellness center in the other Bülow hotel just a few meters away provides the relaxation at the end of the day.

Not everyone may like the viscoelastic mattress.

Very elegant furnishings, very quiet, fixtures all very new, quiet neighborhood but close to restaurants and easy walk to the Old Town, and good connection to train and trams. WiFi worked very well. Staff very friendly and excellent English.

Pillows were fancy goose down, but very flat, I would have preferred a synthetic pillow with more filling.

It was phantastic. We accidently went into the Buelow Palais entrance which is also owned by the same company and were told that we had actually a room in that part of the hotel. While we enjoyed our complimentary welcome drink our luggage was placed in our room. The staff was excellent and the room elegant with a comfortable bed. We enjoyed a wonderful massage which was surprisingly inexpensive for a hotel of that category. I can't say enough good things about this place and highly recommend it. Dresden is a ( again ) beautiful city considering it was well over 90% destroyed in the war and we can't wait to visit again. Thank you Buelow Palais/ Residence. One of the gems of booking.com

Ambiance. The Residenz is lovely, full of character, yet practical and functional. Location - very quiet, yet an easy (10 min.) walk from Dresden Neustadt. Just 2 blocks to a delightful boulevard with many cafes and shops. Also the complimentary access to spa facilities at the sister location was a plus.

I thought 18 euro for breakfast was excessive.

We were upgraded for free to the Bulow Palace because they over booked. The hotel is easy to get to (about a 10 minute walk from the old town market).

This hotel is located in an interesting and attractive part of Dresden, Dresden-Neustadt. While it is a few kilometers away from the main centre to the north, it is worth seeing this part of the city over the river. It is a very fine hotel.

High quality facility in a lovely, quiet neighborhood. Very helpful staff and a comfortable bed and room. Convenient to the major sights of Dresden but out of the tourist frenzy. This is probably our only visit to Dresden (we are over 75), but would definitely stay at the Bulow Residenz again.

Our only negative reactions came at the sister hotel nearby where we had a mediochre and high priced meal. This was not at the Michelin star restaurant, but in their lounge. Nice staff but poor food.

All members of staff were so friendly, polite, good-humoured and efficient, and they all clearly love working in the hotel and they both take such good care of it and of its guests. A most enjoyable stay..

Well placed in the city and within easy walking distance of the city centre, the hotel was very pleasant, the staff very friendly and the room very comfortable.

The room was very spacious and comfortable. On very quiet side street. Yet principal sights in Dresden only a 10-minute walk away. A lovely place to stay.
