Hotel Bad Schachen    

the location was amazing , the room i had was really clean and has enough space , stuff was professional , Wifi internet was fast and good connection , breakfast was good and well organized , car parking was free and comfortable , very welcoming reception stuff .

they did not put an extra bed for my kids so i had them all in my bed .

Plain single room on ground floor lacked the elegance of the rest of the hotel. Overly firm mattress.

We have wanted to return to Bad Schachen since we spent an afternoon there ten years ago . . . this time we wanted to stay! And we were not disappointed! Our room was lovely . . . the views of the lake and mountains both relaxing and energizing! Staff was professional, attentive and kind. Your hotel chef provided us with a delightful dinner experience . . . kudos! We look forward to returning again one day; and spending a week!

The location at shore of the Bodensee. The excellent food and Spa facilities, and the peace and quietness.

The private lakeside beach and pool were Excellent. The location for day trips was perfect especially near Lindau Island; our favorite location to eat and shop, and then to come back to the luxurious surroundings at Bad Schachen .

Excellent location. Very good staff. The room (junior suite) was very comfortable with a good view of the lake. The lido was excellent with a good pool/and or lake for swimming. Very civilised stay with good standards amongst staff (and amongst other guests) Breakfast was very good.

The food is very good but overpriced.

Small rooms.. Overpriced. Unable to have glass of wine on the terrace after 10 or 11 pm .. Pool not open early in the morning... Seemed too many rules for an expensive stay.

Our room was comfortable and kept very clean. The amenities were great. The staff was very helpful.

The tub shower set up was small and cramped, especially for a spa hotel. It was difficult to get the shower head to point at anything but the wall. It would have been nice if we had been advised ahead of time that a large conference of Nobel Laureates would be happening during our stay. The lounge was often crowded, and the whole scene was not what we would have chosen for a relaxing holiday.

No air conditioning and room 15 is too loud with windows open.

Die Atmosphäre

Rezeption und Frühstücksraum sehr sauber und 4-Sterne-Standard. Gutes Frühstücksbuffet, sehr schöne Lage.

Zimmer für Preis Leistung zu klein gewesen. Wir waren im Altbau untergebracht, Badezimmer mit Fliesen aus den 60er Jahren. Armaturen teils ohne Chrombeschichtung. Badezimmer nur mit Duschvorhang. Im Badezimmer konnte sich nur eine Person aufhalten. Der Balkon war pflegebedürftig. Zimmer in dieser Größe und mit solchen Badezimmern sollten nur mit max. 3-Sternen versehen werden. In der zweiten Nacht wurde unter uns eine Hochzeit mit Techno-Musik laut gefeiert bis 2.00h morgens, Schalfen war in dieser Nacht nicht möglich. Nachdem wir uns beschwert hatten, erließ man uns die Kosten für das Zimmer in der besagten Nacht.

Die Lage direkt am Bodensee ist ein Traum. Der Wellnessbereich ist sehr modern und sehr sauber. Schöne Liegewiese und ein paar Schritte durch den Park ein wunderschönes Strandbad, dass man als Hotelgast kostenfrei benutzen kann.

Zimmerservice war nicht ganz perfekt. Die benutzen Gläser und der Obstteller wurden während der 6 Tage nur einmal getauscht. Die Sitzgarnitur in Zi 221 sollte dringend durch eine zeitgemäßere ersetzt werden.

- Prachtige ligging met zicht op meer. - Mooie verzorgde kamer en badkamer met alle komfort. - Aangenaam zitten op buitenterras. - Rustig restaurant met vlotte zeer goede bediening en zeer goede keuken. - Verzorgd ontbijt.
