General ambience quite fun. Breakfast OK. Showers OK.
I opted for the railway carriage compartment. As accommodation I felt that this failed. It was extremely cramped, hardly room to move, nowhere to store anything. Information given stated that if the spare bed was used to put things on, a charge would be made. I thought that rather a cheek. One had to stoop to use the washbasin and there was only cold running water. Grossly overpriced @ €38, in my opinion. I would have given it more like €18.
Funky, fun place with very friendly staff and low cost. Great for adventurous travelers on a budget!
Excellent wi-fi. We were given back our money for the second night as we chose not to stay.
We were given a "room" outside the camp. Iw was very cold, very dirty, very old. Apart from that, it is next to the railway - so, trains were passing during all night. We had arranged to stay for 2 nights but we stayed only one.
no breakfast available on oct 24th
Uniqueness, not seen anything like it before.
So mellow, we sat in the sun with a wine glass doing our emails outside our own spacious Airstream caravan. It was done up like a hippie, Hindu-decorated '70s caravan. The staff were very friendly, helpful and relaxed. We had to move every day but loved each new new caravan/train carriage even more than the previous one.
The train carriage compartment was a bit cramped considering I'm 6 foot tall, and also quite stuffy (there was a good fan though!) but otherwise fun. The family caravan had huge mattresses, but was underneath the breakfast area so got quite noisy. But all minor complaints considering we had such a brilliant time!
that i could not stay any longer than just one night
Amazing themes for rooms and great atmosphere. Stayed in the train carriage and exactly what I needed. Friendly staff and no problems. Good Wifi connection. Good mix for breakfast. Would like to stay there again.
In the train carriage I couldn't work out how to use the toilet lights, not sure they worked. Instead went to the main bathroom, so not a real problem. There was a stale water smell in the guys showers, however were clean and showers were good.
The whole experience is fantastic at this place. From the variety of 'rooms' to the random statues and helicopter on the roof. Toilet and shower facilities are excellent, some of the best communal facilities i've ever used. All staff happily spoke english. Big car park and easy to find.
Staff could have been a tad more engaging but they were deep in a staff meeting when we arrived and they were more than happy to talk english to save us struggling in german. All the 'rooms' are cramped. Especially the train carriages. Enjoy this place for the novelty not the luxury and make use of the communal living spaces. Breakfast wasn't bad but left a bit to be desired.
A very cool event was going on upon my arrival. Staff were very helpful and friendly; was able to leave my luggage after checking out, helpful for logistics on future bookings, great at orienting me in the area.
Great place, clean, comfortable, unusual but amazing, great breakfast and close to centre.
Convenient location. Unique , fun experience. Staff very friendly and helpful. Spoke excellent english. Breakfast included was good. The weather was nice and cool - temperature in campers was very comfortable. Our children stayed in a large camper (slept 4) lots of room for luggage and personal belongings. We stayed in a small camper for 2, not as much room for large luggage. Showers, washrooms, entire place was VERY clean. Better WiFi than any hotel we've stayed at. A fun place to stay.
Fun, interesting and different to anywhere we had stayed before
Waiting for the train on a busy morning on the road outside
clean mobile houses friendly helpful staff
bad ventilation in shower area noisy after midnight
What a fantastic idea of a place to stay! We had originally booked a train carriage but upgraded to a caravan when we arrived. ....they just looked too good to miss. The communal showers, toilets etc were immaculate. Breakfast was great. Just like camping. ....but indoors and better!!
wlaking distance to Conference Centre; nice atmosphere
communal toilets and showers may not be to everyone's taste
The zanny theme.
Absolutely fantastic experience! Everything was spot on. Extremely clean, staff all very friendly, novelty effect was brilliant. Was excited to stay and the camp went above and beyond our expectations. The access to WiFi throughout the camp was also a fantastic bonus. I wish we had something like this in England! Perfect.
Uniqueness of the place Good breakfast
Pricey for the hostel Location
Very quirky and a real surprise. A refreshing change to the usual hotels, seriously try it, you will not be disapointed!
Air con would not go a miss, but everything else was great!
Unique experience, well- maintained, very good breakfast, and easy to get to public transit.
A unique and fantastic concept for a hostel.
The 2 bed train compartments are really hot at night and you can't open the window when the blind's down
Great concept, nice environment and friendly staff.
A bit noisy with nearby railway. It feels a bit far from the center and grocery stores.
interesting place, very original; friendly stuff; very clean; nice breakfast
raw concrete floor in the shower; not close to public transport;
