De centrale ligging van het hotel was goed. Ook was er in de omgeving voldoende parkeergelegenheid. De kamer en het sanitair waren goed schoon. Het ontbijt was ok. De prijs-/kwaliteitverhouding was goed.

Zeer propere kamer en algemene netheid van het hotel. Ook zeer gezellig hotel met verschillende open haarden. Heel vriendelijk personeel. Gratis ticket voor S-Bahn naar luchthaven. 's Avonds was de lift opeens kapot en gezien we op het het 3e verdiep sliepen, was dit niet zo comfortabel. Tegen de volgende ochtend was het probleem al opgelost.

Very good breakfast included in the price and, like many hotels in Hamburg, very clean. Room was stale on arrival and made worse by cheap airfreshner. Small shower.

* Excellent location, easily reachable from the main train station either by U-bahn or on foot (10-minute walk). Major downtown attractions are within walking distance. *a hearty buffet breakfast was included in the room price. *free 3-day pass for local public transportation (S-bahn, U-bahn, buses, ferries). Overalll, highly recommended. Wi-fi/W-LAN is not free (costs an extra €2 /day)

Staffs are really friendly and helpful, they are excellent. Room was too small for the money which I paid and in it became too warm I was swetting like anything. And the whole night I was unable to sleep. in summer i wont recommend some others

Convenience of location. Our room was very small but good for one night and very quiet. Rather overpriced for size and I also don't like paying extra 40 euros for a second person in room. Single occupancy was offered at 85 euros.

Great location. Breakfast was awesome. The closest parking garrage is about 15 minute walk from the hotel. The price for the tiny room was excessive.

The personnel on the reception was very friendly and helpful. The food for breakfast- fresh and in good variety. The room was tidy and had all things appropriate for four star hotel.The situation of the hotel is very near to the center of teh city, which made our tour easier. Next to the hotel there is a nice restaurant with good prices where we spent the New Year, it was also very good - food, interrior, music, prices.. I am very happy with my stay in the hotel and in Hamburg! The fact that the sauna was not separated for men and women..or mainly the fact that all people there did not wear any swimming suits, was disturbing ...

This hotel is extremely well located if one needs to come to the city from Hamburg aiport by public transportation. The U-Bahn stop is about 50 yards from the hotel entrance. I particularly liked the fact that my room had a second door separating the entry foyer (where the closet and the door to the bathroom are) from the bedroom. It added privacy and one never really heard the other guests coming and going. Hotel staff was helpful and the restaurant staff was extremely attentive. I highly recommend the restaurant, as a matter of fact.

The hotel is very well located (despite having near a bier house and a strip club) and the staff was really very nice. The wifi is fast, the breakfast is good and is possible to count on the restaurant. None.

All staff were were friendly and approachable. The restaurant staff were smiling and efficient. The reception staff spoke good English, looking after our needs well. The lady who cleaned the room was equally pleasant and accommodating. It suited our needs perfectly.

The hotel was centrally situated, a short distance from u-bahn station. Shopping districts, the lakes and the main train station were all within easy walking distance. The room was clean and comfortable, simply but tastefully decorated. The staff within the hotel were all polite and helpful. The breakfast was both filling and tasty, with many choices to satisfy all palettes. I have stayed in several hotels in Hamburg, but now I have found this gem I need to look no further. I am planning my next trip now!! Well done to everyone at the Baseler Hof

Service most friendly including the restaurant in the evening. For me ideal location between railroad station (Dammtor) and Old City. I found the Internet instuctions, how to get from railroad station to hotel excellent.

The position of the hotle was just right for a city break . The staff were all friendly and efficient and the room was very clean . The bathroom was cramped and there were no tea making facilities . The TV would only show German programmes ,no international news.

Atmosphere, location in the city close to Dammtor railway station, the gorgeous breakfast, friendly staff, and nice rooms make this a very good hotel overall. Part of the hotel was being refurbished. I did not encounter noise, but nevertheless one should always warn guest beforehand clearly about this,

Die Lage ist recht gut und die Zimmer nach hinten sind auch ruhig. Das Restaurant hat eine ausgesprochen gute Küche mit gutem Service Die Lage und der Grundriss/Schnitt des Zimmers (208) war katastrophal !! Ich hatte extra eine Klasse höher gebucht (Superior) und trotzdem hatte ich ein verwinkeltes Minizimmer! Preis absolut nicht gerechtfertigt

“De locatie was geweldig. Bijna alles wat we wilden zien was op loopafstand aanwezig. Voor de rest maakten we gebruik van de Hamburgkaart. We liepen van het hotel met gemak naar het centrum, naar het prachtige park waar het een lust voor het oog was en naar de schitterende Kunsthalle.
