Quality of everything was tragic. I wouldnt ever recommand it to anyone. And way too expensive!
food and location
reception area needed a good clean
The cleanliness of the rooms, the balcony
There was no one to meet us for check-in when we arrived!! It was around 6 pm and the reception was closed.
The suburb is on a hill with good views over Koblenz and was very green with plenty of trees. House gardens were more like fields. There were so many walnuts on the ground, a sight I've never seen before. Consequently there were plenty of red squirrels about.
There was no supermarket or even a small food store in the vicinity. Consequently I had to go to the town centre for food and drink. There was a restaurant in the hotel but was too expensive to dine there every evening.
Size of the room and balcony Restaurant was nice and surprisingly affordable
Wifi was terrible. Either couldn't connect or if you manage to connect it is very slow or doesn't work and you are sporadically kicked off and have to go through the painful connection process again. This was at all times of day including 2am in the morning not just peak periods. Bring your own pillow. Shower was broken so had to be a contortionist to use. Reception not manned most of the time so not possible to resolve issues easily and were dismissive when I tried to talk to them about the internet issue. Location is very inconvenient even with a car as parking in town is not the easiest.
Location is very nice, breakfast and the staff were very polite.
The bed mattress was very soft, and although it is September, it was very cold in our room and we had no control of the heat. :-(
Location is quiet
Old, worn out
Good view of Koblenz from resatauarant terrace. Bar manager/Waiter excellent. Food very good
very impersonal. No welcome. No Reception. No information. No help or instructions in English. No tea/coffee making facilities in room. No hairdryer in room. Balcony very dusty. Very poor view from balcony even though the hotel was virtually empty.
the environment and the cleaness
too far from the train station
it is silence. I request a room without stairs, and they gave me at the main floor. Tks,
wifi not work well, you have to have a car to go downtown. for summer it would be great to have a frigobar. Ice machine.
Friendly personel, nice restaurant
WiFi is not always powerful enough, at the rstaurant food to very long to arrive.
room size balcony
no staff missing curtains/blinds uncomfortable bed
We got the key at noon instead 5pm. Place very quiet. We had a balcony.
Hotel very far from the city. Furthermore, it is situated at the top of a hill where our car (not a bad car) could not access because of the road to high. Wifi didn't work. No air conditionning. Breakfast very basic.
The view was excellent and it was set in a quiet outer city area. The breakfast was good and the beds comfortable.
The wi-fi service was poor and we had to go to a different floor to obtain access. It was not convenient for walking or cycling to the city or the river. It was awkward having to carry two suitcases up five flights of stairs, although the view was rewarding at the top!
The location was ok.
The pillows and blanket smelled like mildew. It was incredibly hot and there was no air conditioning or fans. The view was very limited.
Friendly helpful staff, good breakfast good price, nice location, short taxi ride from city centre
Took payment from my card before arrival
Very nice hotel and surroundings, and the staff gave excelent service.
peaceful country setting within 2 miles of town centre.
Very steep hill to hotel, reception desk manned intermittently, albeit by very helpful staff.
This is a very nice, quaint hotel situated on top of the Koblenz hills with a wonderful view of the city. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. And it's close, 10 minute walk, to the Bundesarchiv, for any historians who need to work there the commute is an easy one.
The restaurant meals were delicious
The WiFi was very feeble
The view, clean towels every day, not having to check-in, not having to check-out, breakfast was decent.
No refridgerator, no cutlery, no cups, no free coffee, no crockery, shower head broken, one power socket only, electric kettle had no thermostat.
Very inpersonal Hotel where there is no personal contact with staff. They charged by our Credit card without asking us and just gave the receipt wehen we had a breakfast!! We die not want to pay by cash! At the Day of Check out , we could not use Wi-Fi already early in the morning!breakfast!! We wanted to Pay by cash! At the Day of Check out , we could not use Wi-Fi already early in the morning! They do not provide a good service at all!
The meals served in the restaurant were cooked to the highest standard and the service was excellent.
There are no coffee making facilities in the room.
Gute Lage zur Innenstadt und Mseltl; good location for downtown and Mosel valley
keine ausreichende Beleuchtung im Zimmer, keine Leselampen
