Service und Frühstück sehr gut, Sauberkeit i. O.

Gute Lage - auch zu Fuß schnell und einfach ins Zentrum. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich ! Das Zimmer und das Bad war sauber und nett eingerichtet !

Möbel alt und nicht so toll für 3 Sterne Hotel, Fernseher alt, kein Aufzug, Kühlschrank leer

We where really impressed with this small hotel , the room was very comfortable and the staff where very friendly we would use again

Only one little thing was no bath

We asked for a double room with an extra bed - and we're happy to see the room very spacious. The room is very clean - much cleaner than a room in Zurich at 3 times the price we stayed recently. Mattress is firm, not too soft which is good. Room heating is sufficient. The staffs are friendly and very helpful. The hotel is surrounded with good restaurants as well. The last but not least, breakfast is very good.

WiFi signal was weak in our room sometimes it's hard to get connection. Bathroom is small - although clean. Lobby area needs more lighting.

Maybe the bed was too hard. It should have been and over madras.

I selected the Hotel Batavia for three reasons: 1. The hotel received a five star rating for cleanliness from all reviewers. 2. The hotel was conveniently located in an area close to the apartment of the friends whom I was visiting' near shops and restaurants and not unreasonably far from the airport. 3. The hotel was reasonably priced. The hotel did not disappoint me in any respect. It was very clean, the bed was comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. I would recommend the hotel to anyone who is not looking for luxury.

I have no complaints about the hotel. German hotels generally do not provide wash cloths with their linens. I would like to be provided with a wash cloth along with towels.

The Staff is always friendly and helpful and try their utmost to make you feel comfortable. The facilities are very nice and comfy. The location is perfect to move around and even travel from due to the central location of the Hotel.The Hotel is surrounded by plenty of shops, restuarants and bars, which makes planning easier. The Hotel is well known by Taxi Drivers which also makes commuting easy. Plenty of stations allocated in nearby surroundings.

Nothing about the Hotel, just the guests next door to me. An Old couple who complained about everything.

There were no individual safes within the rooms for storage of valubles - however items could be placed within the Hotel safe..

Hotel is an easy 45 minute hop from the airport via metro train and a short 5 minute walk from the main metro station. Close to the action, the Acropolis, main shopping sites and trendy restaurants. Roof-top garden is a plus and gives a good view of the ciry scape, the Plata and the Acropolis. Hotel staff as per other reviews I read on trip Advisor are all true, very friendly and accomodating. A big plus for our stay here in Athens. Morning breakfast was delicious and again staff were attentive. We found Athens to be an interesting city and if you are prepared to walk, most museums are reachable, take the time to search out the local museums.

One negative thing about the City of Athens proper ( no reflection on the hotel) - why can't they spend some time to police and clean up the grafiti - it's everywhere and many parts of the city resemble the slums because of it. Also the street urchins are a pest and they often have their 5 and 6 year old children walking with them begging , it can make sitting at a side walk cafe' depressing when constantly being approached for hand-outs.
