Central location, excellent transport links. Very convenient for Rhine bank (pubs!) and Old Town and Ko

Good staff, stylish room, comfortable, good location

Clean rooms, fairly modern with good free wifi. Great location between train station and downtown. The neighborhood is kind of a Chinatown, with some good oriental restaurants on the street.

They insist on you leaving the room key when you go out. Thin walls. Luckily the neighbors decided to get quiet by 11pm.

Staff, only staff!!!

Furniture and structure was old, also the key of the room,...! It reminds me 1900! :-) lift was looks like Stalin generation!

Very clean, rooms very modern. A great nights sleep. Staff friendly and couldnt do enough for you. Top drawer.

The room was very cold. Toilet and bathroom are very small.

Excellent staff especially Peter, a real gentleman . Breakfast good value. Taxi from airport 22 euros.

Beds were a bit on the hard side, but ok. Could do with a razor as they are not permitted in hand luggage and you have to go out and buy several. This applies to all hotels.

Generally it's good hotel not far from city attractions

Wi-Fi is slow and unstable, sometimes you're even unable to watch youtube video

Good location, friendly lady offered us to take watercooker &tea & coffee upstears, car parking was full but since we asked in advance they offered a place that seemed normally not available

Convinient location to visit Düsseldorf city center. The staf was helpful and friendly. Rooms were spacious and neat. The parking was very handy (we asked for it in advance by email).

The water in the shower was a bit cold at some point. However, my partner did not get the same problem after me. The lift was too small for our xl buggy.

WiFi connection (free) was very good in our room. Television had many, many channels in various languages and quality reception. Hotel staff very polite and helpful.

Issue of parking is somewhat confusing. Booking.com states that it is not possible to reserve a parking place, but when we arrived and asked about parking, the hotel clerk asked us if we had reserved a parking place. So, does booking.com really mean that it is not possible to reserve parking via it's Web site or that it is not possible to contact the hotel to request/reserve parking? (I was told that just across from the hotel is a car park, but this hotel is only allotted three spaces.) I believe booking.com needs to clarify this. The nearest car parks are a couple of blocks away, one for 11 euros per day, and another one for six euros per day. But all in all, a pleasant stay.

Good city break hotel short walk from train station and then a short walk to shops and old town bars and restaurants,very good buffet breakfast and lovely clean and well equipped rooms,all reception staff very helpful with good english to help my non speaking of any german

The lady who was at the registration desk during the day was most helpful.

The room was very small and basic, with space only for the bed. It was on the top floor, part of the ceiling was low, you can hit your head on it. Too little space to call it a double room. There is a small table in the room (good) but it needs better lighting to be useful for any work.

Nice room, comfortable bed, free wifi in the rooms, satellite TV with many channels in different languages, fantastic staff ready to help any time (Reception is open 24/7), excellent location just a short walk away from the main train station as well as the shopping paradise of Konigs-Allee. Highly recommended, truly great value for money.

You do not have the key to the front door, so if you come back late at night, you have to wait.

Difficulty in switching on bedside light

everything went in order regarding my reservation. the room was large.the bed lining and bed covering was clean.the staff were polite and helpful.toilet and bath was clean.location of the hotel was very good.it is located 10 min to königsallee and 20 min to Rhein river.first we thought that it is a dangerous area because of bahnhof viertel (train station), but it was safe enough.

the floor stink bad.it was disturbing.the room was dark, lighting was not enough.the remote control did not work.mini bar was empty.

Basically its a freindly hotel located in the heart of the city, close to most of the amenities and ideal place to use as a base for a weekend travelling West Germany.

Breakfast is continental, catering mainly for Europeans. No tea or coffee making facilities in your room.

It is conveniently situated in the city, it is very clean, the staff are always very polite and courteous and help in every way.

Quality of the hotel was great for the price. There are many other hotels nearby that are much more expensive, yet lower quality. Friendly and helpful hotel staff. "Free" wifi was included in the already low price. It is an older hotel, but has been nicely renovated. The rooms are larger than many of the other hotels nearby. The rooms include a mini fridge. About a 1 minute walk from Galeria Kaufhof, which has an excellent supermarket in the lower level. Will stay again.

Elevator is tiny, but welcome to Europe!

The staff at the hotel were always very helpful and friendly...... 10 minute walk from the main shopping district and pubs which was fab. The hotel itself was very clean and felt like great value for money.
