+ After a long search we booked a room at hotel Bavaria. We were fully satisfied and we would certainly stay again in the future. The breakfast area was very nice, very relaxing. The buffet had many things to choose, also there were many choices of what coffee you prefer. The location was Great! There were 2 metro stations in 10 minutes walk taking you wherever. As for the room it was comfortable, clean enough and very cozy. -If you book a room choose second or third floor cause 1st flour is not so high up from the road and if you don’t smoke ask for a non smokers room!

Reasonable price that included breakfast and WiFi. Comfortable room with excellent staff. Easy access by train to any location in Munich. No clothes-iron (with board) in the room, but this is minor.

We booked the apartment, which was perfect for us as we were two couples travelling with one baby. It had a separate living room and kitchen. The location was good - about 7/8 minutes walk to the tram stop and then only a few minutes into town. The breakfast buffet was very good and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Good and professional staff and great breakfast with good location close to the city centre (20 minutes by foot). Clean and family friendly, spacious rooms. The bathroom was very well decorated and equipped with modern facilities. The garage is very small and cramped. It was a real challenge to park the car at once.

We stayed in a flat for 4 people (we were 3), across the street from the main hotel building, on the ground floor - it was a beautiful flat and in a nice & quiet neighbourhood. All facilities were great and there were plenty of amenities in the flat and a wonderful free breakfast each day. The flat was cold and never heated properly, although the hotel staff did help to fix this by providing an electric heater for the remainder of our stay.

I selected this hotel based on a mixture of positive reviews and the impressive pictures. After my visit I can confirm that my high expectations were well justified. The hotel, despite being of an older category, has been refurbished with style and the BarVaria is wonderful to have a drink (Augustiner from tab) a chat, or simply read a magazine. Breakfast setting and choices were good. Staff were very friendly and professional. Hotel sold a publich transport day ticket for all 5 of us for under €10. When I book next, I'll have a room with a balcony.

Very nice hotel. Nice staff. Great location. Quiet for a city hotel. Our room was clean and attractive. They offered safe on-site parking, which was great. However, the parking garage was very small and difficult to get in and out of unless you are driving a very small car.

Nice hotel with an excellent staff in a decent location (close to underground station, but not in the city centre - close enough – maybe 20 minutes walk to the main plaza). Nice breakfast. As said above – nice hotel but has a “cheap attitude”. As an example – we stayed 5 nights and during these stay we never had any toiletries replaced, bottle of water has not been replaced either (even so it says complimentary). I would have accepted either no water at all or if it is complimentary water it should be replaced every day. We only had lollies on a pillow once in 5 nights (and again only for the first night). Very nice hotel but all these “cheap” points not letting me mark it higher. Also if you are on a business trip and want to use wi-fi – don’t even bother. They are using free-hotspot.com as a provider. Hotel does not and can not help you if you have problems connecting to the internet. You need to talk directly to the service provider. In 5 days I have managed to connect to the internet only few times and in total maybe for 1 hour. Every 20-25 minutes you have to re-accept the term and conditions and even after that in most cases I was not able to continue to browsing the net. Using vpn or tcp/ip or outlook was impossible.

Breakfast was fantastic, room was very clean, staff were helpful and friendly. The free wifi internet was extremely slow and unreliable, however, the hotel does provide a computer for guests to use in the lobby via lan cable which was fine.

We chose the Hotel Bavaria because of its close proximity to the Wiesen fairgrounds during Oktoberfest. For four people, the apartment was perfect. Just one block away from the festivities, but on a quiet street full of great places to eat and little local shops. The staff was extremely friendly and always willing to give directions (sometimes more than once). I would definitely stay there again. We did book somewhat last minute, during Oktoberfest, but the price was pretty high.

This was a very good and friendly hotel located near the Theresienwiese u Bahn, just one stop from the main train station. The s bahn station was only a short walk away and was useful for the airport, a ticket cost 10 Euros which was certainly cheaper than the taxi at 60 Euros. There were a number of excellent restaurants in the local area, although some did not take cards. The room was small with no air conditioning.

Location - only a ten minute walk to the City Centre and on the doorstep for Oktoberfest events. Breakfast was nice with a good selection of fresh food and drink. Food provided in the Bar is heated from frozen. Drinks are expensive. No A/C so had to leave the window open and the street was very noisy.

We are a family of four and the accommodation in a spacious apartment on the next corner from the hotel was perfect for us with room to relax in a spacious lounge. Breakfast was included at the hotel and was excellent. Public transport links on the U bahn and S bahn make it very easy to get around the city. An extra bathroom in the apartment would have been handy or at least a separate WC with 2 adults and 2 teenagers sharing one facility.

The friendliness of the staff, nothing was too much trouble for them, and the breakfasts were tasty and really filling. The room was smaller than other rooms we've stayed in for the same price range in Munich. It was a bit far from the centre of town although it is ideal for the Octoberfest!! It was however in a residential area which was fairly quiet. The hotel could only benefit from air conditioning!!

The ten minutes walk from the nearest U bahn(Underground) station, Theresienwise, the famous for Octoberfest place. The quiet enviroment would be also an advantage of this hotel. The clean and well equiped guest room with the good variety of breakfast could be worth staying. The staff is friendly and very helpful when we ask the restaurant recommendation nearby. Even the reservation reconfirmation was being done on behalf of ourselves. No bathtub is available with twin beded room.
