location was ok
Location, vibe, cleanliness.
Breakfast. Had a poor selection for 6 euro fifty.
The location is excellent. We managed to walk almost everywhere, and if needed, the public transport is available within a few steps. We enjoyed having an apartment and the possibility to make our own breakfast and dinner in the evening when the kids were dead tired to go out to eat.
The beds were squeaky and a bit hard - but nothing one couldn't cope with for a couple of nights. Some nights were a bit noisier as well, but moderately so for a hostel.
Staff is cool and friendly, rooms and bathrooms are spacious and very clean. Overall a great experience, at an unbeatable price!
Wifi password is printed every day on a receipt you find at the reception. Beds are quite noisy!
Sitting area, lobby , staff help fairly , location
for info more visitors staff cannot handle, cleanliness poor in Kstudio, too dark , wash room toilet bad smell.
Excellent, modern facility with a great lounge, nice bar and restaurant. Friendly staff for the most part. Nice rooms with good beds. Central location.
This place would have been perfect if there were a kitchen. Also, as an older traveller, I wasn't too keen on the early 20's hipster "too cool for school" element, which was pervasive. Also lots of loud, annoying school groups.
There are bugs, tics and fleas into the beds
Confortable spaces to hang out Near a metro station Near restaurants and nice streets
The woman we did the check in with was horrible. Kept us waiting for 20 minutes while she made herself a coffee The bed
The location was great, really nice place, good style and clean all the time
the staff was really poor, all the girls were totally unfriendly and not professional
Good location and nice decoration!
τHe staff was rude, unhelpful and ironic and charged me by their fault 20 euros extra!!! The beds were also really uncomfortable and the signal of Wi-Fi really weak in the rooms.
(1) good location. (2) bike rental in hostel. (3) big balcony type window in room.
(1) you get wifi password on small piece of paper, it works only 24 hours - it is ok in general but inconveniently. i don't see any problems to have open wifi in hostel in europe nowadays. (2) cleaner disturb you twice before check out time 12.00. why???
nice location, frendly staff, lockers for free
we were in the hotel in autumn, so it was cold, but the heater was not working, noise from hall
Location: walking distance to all the important places in Berlin. Very clean and with big beds, spacious shared rooms.
Wifi doesn´t work properly in all the building (low signal). No kitchen to cook or store food.
Good facilities, cheap, okay location.
Beds in the hostel are not pre-allocated and apparently housekeeping staffs clean the wrong beds quite often (happened at least 3 times during my stay), resulting in already occupied beds being occupied by newcomers and no clean/empty beds for the former occupants. When complained, receptionists tried hard to shift the blame to others (other customers, housekeeping) instead of trying to come up with solutions. Internet connection is very slow and unstable.
Rooms, cleaning, bar and break fast.
Only two of six people who were working there were friendly, the rest of them really unfriendly and with very bad mood.
It seems like clean, but there's bed bugs. no kitchen, no coffee, no tea, nothing
Excellent sized clean rooms for a great price and helpful staff
I liked the location, it was exactly downtown. It was really near to many attractions & sightseeings. Not to mention being in Friedrichstrasse which is full of shops, stores, restaurants & cafés. You can easily go to Alexanderplatz & the metro station & the train station are like 3 minutes walk.
Sleeping on the upper bed as it makes noise to the person sleeping under me. The prices of hostels generally in Berlin center is really expensive compared to other countries...
Personeel was very good. Very tide.
Not much place in room for six girls. Every with big laggage. Costy brekfast.
- location is excellent - good facilities - good atmosphere - key card very convinient
- breakfast not included - staffs in the bar is doing nothing - staffs are kind of rude - stupid charging system - no lock for the shower room - not clean enough
Convenient location (easy to get to most of the tourist attractions, Tegel airport), spacious rooms, availability of girls-only rooms, availability of breakfast buffet and business lunch if you need one, lockers are available for every guest in a room, toilet and a shower in the room (at least where I stayed). Suitable for a short stay on your way somewhere else.
Hostel is big and kind of faceless, no kitchen, showers are clean but inconvenient, in fact, there is lots of minor inconveniences that may drive you mad when you are tired. Because of all that is not suitable for a long stay. It is also not the best choice if you need to save (absence of kitchen will make you a slave to the nearby cafes and restaurants). There are also deposits for the key (or keys if you also need a locker in a basement) and you have to buy a lock from a receptionist to keep your personal locker closed. personnel at reception was kind of indifferent and overloaded with other work (but polite all the same). there also seems to be not very good a tradition of moving guests between rooms. moving itself is not a big deal, problem is that they say you MUST check out and check in again and you can not use your bed while you are checked out. they seem to solve their cleaning issues this way but it turns to be quite inconvenient for a guest who does not have access to his/her bed between 11-00 and 15-00 because of this policy. this is not really nice because I assume that if I payed for 5 nights in a row they should not force check me out (I can move to another bed alright, but I want access to my bed I paid for during all the period). I've pointed this out to the receptionist but he said that's alright this is why this is so cheap (which is not true, you can easily compare the prices with other hostels). I do not think I will ever stay there unless really necessary.
Excellent location, nice rooms, clean (we are on Germany)... This hostel could be a must if the staff would be more professional! We were there with 3 kids and it was a good value for money!
* very poor WiFi connection * staff is young, not properly trained and unprofessional
The staff was really great. They helped me a lot with a personal problem. Although before that problem, they were great too. They tried that I enjoy fully the experience and they succeeded. Totally recommended. If I return to berlin, for sure I will repeat the experience.
It's close to metro and not far away from attractions like museums,so clean, better for a short stay
Wifi Staff are not kind The bed room is too cold
