Convenient for Bayreuth centre, station and Festspiele Haus. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room. No shampoo/conditioner in room. Lights in room confusing - not checked by staff previously. Limited tables at breakfast in busy times. Food, plates and cutlery ran out. Not replaced quickly.

Great location in terms of access to most sites of interest. French atmosphere Next to Hauptbahnhof which had its down side in terms of noise. I thought that the under-cover car park was awkward to find.

I liked the breakfast buffet. I liked the amenities and the convenience of being near transportation and the Bayreuth Festspiele. I liked being around other people attending the opera. It may not be hot all the time in Bayreuth, but I found the hotel very warm and stuffy. I suggest ceilling fans for rooms without adequate ventilation or at least the option of electric portable fans. My room was without adequate ventilation during this heat wave.

The Hotel staff were all friendly, polite and efficient. The restaurant was comfortable and accommodating and the food, including the breakfast, was all freshly prepared and of high quality. The room was a decent size, comfortable and (considering the central location of the hotel) surprisingly quiet. The Hotel is ideally placed for travel by rail and within a 10/15 minute walk of the town centre.

Friendly staff and very clean rooms and hotel areas. If you open the windows it is very loud but it is right next to the train station so some noise is to be expected. There was no coffee pot or tea available in the room or a clock. All minor things but for a Junior Suite I was expecting at least coffee.

A well appointed and run hotel with good local menu at breakfast and dinner. Excellent location in the town centre and next to the Railway Station but not at all noisy. All staff were very helpful, polite and spoke good English. Double Deluxe Room spacious and comfortable and excellent value booked in advance - good range of toiletries, including emery board and cotton wool - though these weren't replenished when used up. Sauna open in afternoons only. Towels not always available in the changing rooms.

great location, just outside the train station, the room was ok and clean and fairly warm. There is an extra heater in the bathroom. The hotel is quite old, so don't expect anything fancy about your room, the curtains in the bedroom couldn't be pulled close. Furniture is evidently old, the room a bit dark. Ok for a business trip, I wouldn't pick it for a vacation though. For the quality it is a bit overpriced.

Der Service und besonders die Freundlichkeit der Damen am Anfang waren vorbildlich. Das Einzelzimmer war auch angenehm groß.Ich war mehr als zufrieden. Das Restaurant nebenan hat mir auch sehr gut gefallen. Das Essen war vorzüglich. Für mich speziell war auch sehr gut, daß man ein kleineres Frühstück a la carte bestellen konnte, da ich kein großer Frühstücksesser bin.

Le restaurant, style brasserie française appelé "La gendarmerie" ce qui est bizarre en Allemagne et décoré en conséquence, a un seervice réduit à midi, mais une cuisine de très bonne qualité le soir. Situation idéale au centre ville, mais pourtant très calme.

Das Hotelzimmer und Flur waren völlig neu renoviert und daher im Top Zustand. Personal sehr freundlich, Frühstück sehr vielfältig und gut, gutes p/l Verhältnis. Trennung Bad / wc sehr gut Lage direkt am Bahnhof mit geringem Schallschutz an Fenstern
