name brand recognition assures top quality. top trained staff anticipate needs, are multi-lingual and customer service oriented.

unfortunately, on this stay, we had a room with an interior courtyard view as opposed to a lake view.

the lobby, the location, the style

Hotel staff polite but not very friendly. Beautiful lobby but...no bar or coffee-shop in this large cosy space. For the bar, it is around the corner, outside..... Stains on the two seats in the room ( 5*?) Overpriced restaurant menu.

The view from the rooms over the lake is AMAZING!! And the breakfast is good too!

The hotel is quite dated - we expected this but it is a little tired and not that modern. But that very much depends on your taste though so I expect some people will love it! It's very clean though and comfortable.

Staff breakfast and location

Room was not up to standard, and the food was very provincial for an international traveller. Maybe some alternate dishes representing wider Germany may help

The hotel is beautiful and in a great location. I would not call it a 5 star though.

"Travelers Beware" We had problems from the minute we arrived. We traveled through Europe for a month and stayed in 11 different hotels without any problems. We are also seasoned travelers and very easy going. We booked 2 double rooms on Booking.com. When we got to the hotel they informed us that the double room we booked was for 1 person, not 2 as I had thought and would have to charge us extra for the extra person. They blamed Booking.com and said they always have problems with them. We have never had a problem with Booking.com, that is why we book through them. They gave us a better rate than they had first quoted because we were going to walk out. We asked if breakfast was included and the girl at the front desk said "Not at that price". When we booked it said it included breakfast. The following morning my brother in law asked again if breakfast was included and once again he was told it was not. So every morning the 4 of us went out into town to have breakfast elsewhere. When we checked out we were informed that we were being charged $30.00 euros per room per day for breakfast. When we told them that we were told breakfast was not included for that price, she basically said that was not ture. Finally she agreed to take the charge off our bill. When we got back to the states they had indeed added the charges to our bill $117.67 usd. We then received a letter f rom the hotel telliing us that the front desk person did tell us breakfast was included, which is false. I would not trust this hotel nor recommend it to anyone who is staying in Lindau.

Beautiful hotel right in the harbor at Lindau. It is across the street from the train station too! Very luxurious and enjoyable!

Safe malfunctioned and needed new batteries but they handled it rignt away!

Old hotel with spacious rooms and quite functional. Restaurant staff very friendly & attentive. Clean. Housekeeping very good. Excllent location in centre of town. Choose outdoor carpark and not garage carpark - cheaper!

Reception not welcoming - we did not see them greet or acknowledge guests. Needs more contact with guests. Pool outdoor and full of leaves. Functional but not user friendly.

A very friendly welcome from extremely helpful staff. A very comfortable hotel in an excellent location alongside the harbour. Excellent food in the cafe bar in the evening, and a superb breakfast selection.

There is no wheelchair access to the main building. My wife could walk up the steps but I had to carry the wheelchair. But there is a lift to all floors. Our room had no air conditioning which made it rather hot and stuffy. This may not be the case in all rooms.

Most everything was perfect! Excellent location and a wonderfully attentive and helpful staff. Lovely breakfast, very clean rooms, fabulous spa features.This is a great hotel that we would definitely visit again. Super experience!

Beds were a bit too firm for our tastes, but I must say that the room was very nice.

Analue for money apart from the restaurant which was expensive considering that there were so many very good restaurants nearby excellent hotel in a very good location. Good value for momey at the higher end of the scale. . Would definitely go again.

The location and the view overlooking the bay is astounding. Great place to unwind !!! Breakfast was a joy particulary one of the hostess who went out of the way to ensure that we had great service.

Le site internet annonce un spa alors qu'il n'y avait qu'un peuvre sauna fermé à clef. La piscine extérieur est commune à 3 hotel La carte de l'hotel est loin d'être terrible La chambre est vraiment moyenne !

Die Schlussrechnung stimmt nicht, das Essen (hp) entspricht nicht einem 5Sterne-Haus, das Servicepersonal war nach 22.00 Uhr kaum mehr anzutreffen, das zugewiesene Zimmer hinterliess den Eindruck (Blick auf die Baustelle), infolge Buchung über Booking.com einen "Restposten" der Zimmer bekommen zu haben. Dieses Gefühl hatten wir schon beim Waidringerhof in Waidring, Oesterreich. Sollte dies noch ein drittes Mal vorkommen, werden wir nicht mehr über das Portal Booking.com buchen. Es scheint so, dass die Hotel nicht in Erwägung ziehen, dass es sich bei uns um einen Schnuppergast handeln könnte, der das Hotel erst einmal anschauen will. Unter diesen Umständen sehen wir jedoch keinen Grund, diese Hotels noch einmal zu berücksichtigen. Es hinterlässt einen bitteren Nachgeschmack; ebenfalls was das Buchungsportal angeht. Schlechte Werbung.

Fantastique! Tout était irréprochable. La formule demi-pension est parfaitement adaptée pour un séjour d'affaires. Cuisine bien maîtrisée. Très bon restaurant d'hôtel. Excellent petit-déjeuner. Superbe chambre avec vue.
