First time at bayerisherhof..i normally stay at Kempinski in maximillian strasse..the bayerisherhof is nowhere near as good a good a hotel the breakfast is poor by comparrison..the bar service is awful..the spa is a mess..almost a four star really..i liked having a choice of restaurants in the hotel..i left my phone charger in the room ..they charged my credit card to send it back to me !! ..no good not a real five star ...this hotel is four star quality in all areas

Good location, friendly staff The internet connection was quite expensive and the gym was only open from 7am - 10pm. International business travellers require early morning and late night workouts.

The exceptional reception and concierge services. The comfort and luxuriousness of the bedrooms (and the public areas). The location to central Munich and shopping. Friendly and exacting service at all times. (Except for once - see below...) The variety of places to eat within the hotel. I am sure that this was unusual - on one of our evenings spent in the roof bar - the service was exceptionally slow even though there were very few people using the area. We asked for some cookies to go with our hot chocolate - we were ignored by the young male waiter. (It could be he did not understand our request)? The following evening was completely different - excellent service returned by a different waiter.

At the arrival I got a room that I did not like but after a call to reception they gave me a beter one whith no problem , on new years eve I complaint about the noice from the party and next day they sent me a fruit basket and a leter whit excuses. At the arrival because we were two young man wearing sport and they are use to older couples wearing top fashion clothes some of the personal looks were not to nice. Not after 5 nigths stay.jejejeje But we will return.

Staff were pleasant and helpful. Spa was nice. Moved into a nice large suite on the first floor, that had thumping music from the nightclub. I complained, so I got punished by being moved into a suite a third of the size on the fifth floor. Internet did not work. Could not get documents printed. €8 for a bottle of water. You have to be kidding!

Our room in no way resembled the 'Laura Ashely' room as advertised on their website or on booking.com. The cupboards,headboard and side tables were stained and scratched, the lounge suite torn and threadbare and the curtains faded. There was an awful smell in the room with a strange white powder that was in the offending corner, a mail was sent to the public relations officer and to date a week later - no reply. This hotel is overrated, intimidating and full of itself! There is no justification of the amount charged for the room verses what we were given (photos available) My credit was billed three times and when queried it was explained it's holding amounts? I am appalled and totally shocked and so disappointed as this was a very special time in our lives and we were so looking forward to stay at such a reputable hotel!

The location and the class of the hotel. For a 5 star hotel - because I stay in many - expected more flowers, candles and champagne in a room - as well as including breakfast for 2 - as this suite costs 1,000.00 $ + per night.

Rooms are excellent They forgot to wake me up in the morning and so I very nearly missed my flight and reception did not seem to have any record of being asked ... Food late in the evening very disappointing. There were supposedly six restaurants but actually only one very mediocre one open.

Nicely decorated room, very friendly staff, very efficient reception, our dog was welcome, nice terrasse Thank you! This has happend to me before with other hotels: While booking, I was looking for an indication about "dogs allowed" and could not find one, I had to call the hotel. For people who are travelling with a dog, it would be very convenient to find that information easily on the internet as it is usually crucial.
