Bayerischer Hof  

Bayerischer Hof is a historical landmark hotel, with excellent hotel staff and beatiful interiors.

The room I got smelt bed and hotel staff agreed, then I was immediately moved in another room. In the new room the remote control of the TV didn't work. Again staff reacted promptly. The single rooms are very small.

Ii found the room rather noisy from the street and also from the corridor (there was only one door from the beed to the corridor) as well as the neighbor room (there was a closed door between my room and the neighbor, probably because it has been a part of a suite in the past).

The employees were vey observant and helpful. I felt in good hands.

The really downside was that the swimming pool was closed for renovation during my complete stay. This information was not available when I made the reservation and was very dissapointing. In addition a nuber of handyman were busy in the sauna area which was quite irritating.

the manager was very disparaging when I complained that I had been given a twin room rather than the double I booked. he said this was standard in hotels for the two to be interchangable. I travel i lot and have never been told this by a hotel.

Excellent location

Needs furniture change since the sofas are old and due for change, this in regard to my junior suite.

I liked the hotel prime location being in the heart of Munich city center but minimum street noise.

I did not like the high cost of having breakfast in the Hotel and the high cost of using the WIFI and TV.

Staff are friendly and hotel is clean

At the arrival I got a room that I did not like but after a call to reception they gave me a beter one whith no problem , on new years eve I complaint about the noice from the party and next day they sent me a fruit basket and a leter whit excuses.

At the arrival because we were two young man wearing sport and they are use to older couples wearing top fashion clothes some of the personal looks were not to nice. Not after 5 nigths stay.jejejeje But we will return.

Luxurious classic hotel. Very close to the main street of Munich. Best deal value for money.
