I have been staying at the Bayerische Hof for the past 17 years. It only gets better. When you arrive you are made to feel at home and it is always a seamless experience. Family run by an "Iron Lady" who understands hospitality it is the place to stay in Munich.

I liked but I do not understand why use "booking" for booking when there is any price difference between you and direct reservation. Thank you for an eventual reply.

Extremly nice and efficient staff everywhere. From reception, to room service to porter etc. Love the general atmosphere of an old hotel but with nice modern and refined rooms. Love the large showers separated from the bath tub. Love the breakfast. Love the whole atmosphere of subdued luxury. Love the location. Would only use this hotel in Munich and have stayed in others before

The beds. Hav stayed there 4 or 5 times this year from a single room to a suite all had terrible hard beds with the top part (head) reclining slightly backwards instead of beeing a little higher and reclining forward. On two occasions had bathroom that smelt of sewage. The staff were kind enough to immediately change the room but it is such a bother when you are unpacked and all. Internet : Have to get a new password every 24 hours again a bother when you could have 3 days or 6 days packages Taxis outside of the hotel : most are foreigners don't know the streets and do not know how to use a navigator properly

The public bar was closed for a group reservation, but ok..

First I got a room around 12 sq m big with a bed good for a kid only , after my complain they gave me a normal size room with twin beds a bit bigger.Get a king or at least queen size bed seems to be impossible there. Be carefull booking this hotel they can offer you the same for the price of about 300 euro

My room this time was only adequate and the bathroom facilities included a combined bath/shower which for this type of hotel is inappropriate these days.

Good location in the centre of Munich

Room was right above function suite and very noisy I thought about complaining but thought the noise would end soon.

Internet must be free! Very expencive - look like - not welcome. Breakfast also not included. Too much furniture and floor lamp for not big room - look like tight.

Nothing was all good

The lovation of the hotel is very convinient

1) the hotel is overpriced 2)the furniture and bathroom are things of the past, for example, in either of our rooms it was impossible to use the shower 3)there occured a scandal in the hotel. When we went to the so-called micheline-starred restaurant, where we booked a table, having our written confirmation of booking, it appeared that our table was given to other guests, who came in just in front of us!!! And what is the most horrible Mrs. Huckschlag led us into another restaurant, and she didn't note to us that this is not the restaurant we wanted. Her deceive she made with perfect skill, just as she made it on daily basis. The evening was spoilt, we left the restaurant. Such a deceive have we never met, especially in michelline restaurants, and(what is more) in 5* hotels. Such a shame!!!

As always, this is a special hotel with many things to do. You could spend a whole weekend trying the various restaurants, bars, nightclub, theatre, cinema and Wellness facilities. My favourite spot remains the Palais Kellar which I must have visited in excess of 200 times.

The underground car park was chaotic! It is one of those places which wants your car key which I hate. Next morning, although I had parked in a good space, they had moved the poor car as they were doing redecoration. When I was shown the car, it looked like it had been in a snowstorm. So, it had been moved a bit late! At least reception apologised and refunded the charge.

The room was very comfortable. The staff were helpful and polite. The breakfast in the morning was excellent.

Service is great, room was excellent, clean and with all sorts of welcoming chocolates. We ordered some food in the first night - that tasted very good. The hotel is located at the heart of the center of the old city. 2 minutes walk distance from everything.

The wifi is very expensive where it should be totally free as in other hotels. It's so expensive for laptops that we just bought an access voucher for an iPhone. The room is good but was too expensive. We also got a room near the elevator where we had noise from people passing by.
