In the nearby Taubertal valley you will find a lot of picturesque towns like Detwang, Creglingen, Bad Mergentheim, Schwäbisch Hall. Würzburg and Nuremberg are only about 1 hour by car away from Rothenburg.

There were many things to like about the Bayerischer Hof. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The food in the restaurant is terrific. Try the goose! Really good red cabbage. The location was the main reason I choose the hotel and it didn't disappoint. It's an easy walk outside the Rothenburg wall. The hotel also has parking. |

Very friendly family run bed & breakfast. The room was rather spartan, but spotlessly clean. There owner was extremely accommodating considering the mix-up caused by booking.com |

Excellent, almost perfect location to visit Rothenburg ob der Tauber; only 10 min slow walk to city center (main square). Free parking in the hotel closed yard (even after check-out!). Walking distance to train station. |

Very friendly staff. This hotel was close to rail station (3 minutes) yet 5 minutes from the historic town. Inexpensive rooms which are good value for money if all you are doing is sleeping there and out all day. Single room was very spartan and small. Just like a student university residence. |

Small simple hotel, excellent location just outside the old city walls. Very friendly staff, home atmosphere, free private parking. No hotel stuff in place after 7pm till next morning. No buffet breakfast, no internet. |

Conveniently located just outside the centre of Rothenberg. Very pleasant staff. Lovely accommodation and good value. We were surprised to find on our arrival at 7pm that they had expected us to confirm the booking and so had presumed we were not coming! Athough I was told that an email had been sent asking us to confirm, I did not receive this. I have not had this experience previously with booking hotels through booking.com and presumed that we had until 9pm to book in. |

Very valuable hotel! cheap but very comfitable. And the location is perfect just 5 mins from train station by foot and 5 mins to the old town by foot as well. Waiter is very nice and always with smile. My room is very comfitable. Breakfast is very very luxuriant. it's a very pleasure experince! |

対応、設備、立地ともに自分としてはかなり満足でした。奥さんがかなり気さくな人で、色々と話しかけてくだ- さってありがとうございます。本当はもう少しゆっくりして行きたかったのですが、休みの日数の都合上、かな- りタイトな予定にしてしまっていたのでゆっくり話して行けなかったのが残念でした。あと、もう少し英語やド- イツ語、本当にできるようになりたいですね。そうすればもっと会話も弾んだと思いますから…。自分にとって- 、もっと語学を楽しんで学ぼう！とより一層思える良い機会を与えてくれた場所でもあったと思います。 |
