The staff are engaging and seem proud to work there , I stayed at this hotel 2 years ago and noticed some of the same staff again , this is always a good sign. In some places staff seem to be just going through the motions , but not here. The hotel itself almost feels like an giant art installation at times offering up modern grandeur |

We liked the general design of the hotel, the location of the hotel is very convenient to the city centre especially the U/S Bahn network and main shopping avenue. The breakfast buffet was one of the best I saw in Europe. The Nespresso machine in the rooms is a nice plus. The glass doors between bathroom and WC is not very practical. Door staff was uncoordinated when getting our car out of the garage at check-out, so the process took over half an hour. |

The hotel is very near to the train station and we were there for that convenience, having arrived at 7 PM and were leaving the next morning at 9. The price was a non refundable special price and for these reasons we chose the hotel The room was extremely uncomfortable, so modern that one needs an instruction book to operate the lighting system and TV. The bathroom was most uncomfortable..small dark and disfunctional.I cannot understand how this hotel rates a 9. The restaurants were closed all but the Bistro and the menu was a Christmas menu special at 70 euros per person plus drinks of course. We were tired and wanted to eat there but walked to another nearby restaurant because of this. |

Excellent facility, service, and location. Conceirge was very helpful during our four day stay.If you are trravelling to/from other areas, prximity to train stattions is excellent. Hotel should offer free internet and/or WIFI as charges for 15 min. interval use is ridiculous at this type of hotel. |

Very nice design of the whole building and the interior. Rooms are modern and comfortable. The concierge service had a very high service level and friendliness. At the reception the attitude was not at the high service level, some persons quite unfriendly. |

Room was spacious and very well equipped Room was a non smoking room but smelt heavily of smoke, as unable to open window this smell persisted during our 3 day stay. Having drwn it to the hotel's attention I would have expected freshener to be used or a scented candle burnt to minimise smell - very unpleasant when returning to room. Lighting too low in most of the hotel but critically too low in the bathroom. Although very convenient for the train station, the area around the hotel is seedy. |

The breakfast buffet was sumptious! The overall atmosphere of the hotel is international chic and an oasis from the commercial environment of Munich just outside of its doors. The staff in the Isatar bar so obviously ignored us subsequent to an "efficient" 1st order that the only assumption was that they disliked American tourists. The super modern shower faucet wasn't installed correctly according to my engineer husband and was difficult to adjust hot/cold. The bedroom wooden floors weren't terribly clean and the beds weren't very comfortable. The internet access was horribly expensive. |

The rooms were good and comfortable The staff do not respect privacy of their guests in the rooms, they break into the room without knocking. The hotel allowed dogs in the rooms but not in the restaurant. If you are a dog friendly hotel the dogs should be allowed into the restaurants. We had to eat outside. Overall a very mixed experience. The hotel is not as well located as some other central 5 star hotels in the city. |

Reception excellent totally 5 star Leisure center excellent with 5 star staff Breakfast excellent great healthy choices Brilliant location Room services left a lot to be desired When we entered our room there was a lot of sparkle and 40th confetti around the room When we left on Monday after three days in the room they were still in the same position When we arrived we were supplied with shampoo and shower gel but after that when the room was serviced they put the empty bottles back in the same position Used the coffee machine once on the first day and the coffee cup was still left dirty when we left on monday |

The location of the hotel is fabulous - right next to the train station - and the standard of the inside mostly matched the location. Our room was very well equipped with high quality furnishings (iPod dock, cappucino machine etc). However the much vaunted see-through to the bathroom was necessary as the room, although billed as DeLuxe, felt a little small and would even have been a little claustraphobic if the bathroom had been screened off. The breakfast although pricey was excellent and a great way to start a day of city sightseeing. In summary, you get what you pay for! No wireless internet in the rooms, and you have to pay after 15 minutes of internet use in the business centre, although this did not appear to be too strictly enforced! Like the hotel itself, the spa area was a little dark but once you got used to it was quite funky. |
