A very enjoyable stay, we planned on 1 night on our way through but ended up staying 2 nights and wishing we had the time and stayed longer.
Conrad (owner & butcher) and his family welcomed us with big smiles and open arms and as we had just got off our motorcycle drenched because of pouring rain they couldnt do enough for us to get us warm, checked in and comfortable.
Once we were settled, Conrad suggested we take a walk in the small village and suggested we take a look at the very old church and the very old graves, very interesting.
Dinner, cooked by his wife was fabulous, his Mother served us drinks and although she didnt speak a word of english or we understand German she chatted away to us, while his daughter sat and chatted to us and they made us feel like we were part of the family.
After Conrad showed us a map of things that we must see and showed us a nice bike ride loop seeing these things, we decided to stay an extra night.
Staying the extra night turned out to be the best night we had had so far. Another fabulous meal and some of the locals joined us, so with the locals and the family showing us Bavarian Hospitality we felt like we were at home, so many good laughs.
The breakfasts were a good start to the day with personalised service in the dining room.
Our room was a double room, it was nice and comfy and cosy.
Overall a fantastic little gem of a place, only approx 34km from the fabulous castle Neuschwanstein in Schwangau.
Thoroughly recommend this little guest house if you want to be looked after.
