Hotel is very nice and clean. Rooms are spacious. Location is good, close to shopping and nice restaurants.

Breakfast is quite expensive. However, close by are some nice cafes with more reasonable prices.

The beds were as hard as a bullet. We like firm mattresses but these were dreadful. The pillows were way too soft and score 0/10. Breakfast had a wide choice but 10 Euros too dear at 21 Euros pppd.

It has a good location- the staff is exellent,very friendly and skillful.The rooms are very fine and the cleaningladies allways ready to get you what you are missing.ex. Wanting an extra pillow-she got one allmost immediately.The hall and the bar are very nice and extra decorated now for x-mas time,so my wife and I did have a very good stay- as allways.This was the third tilme. The very nice lady,Mrs. Doris that superwises the restaurant is a fantastic fine pr for the hotel-we shall never forget her! With kind regards and a HAPPY NEW YEAR from Ole and Birthe Tjellesen

This was our third visit to Berlin and we have stayed at Hotel Berlin every time. The staff are so friendly and helpful - nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are clean and spacious - we asked for a specific room and they were happy to reserve it for us, even though we had made our reservation through Booking.com at a really good price. Can't wait to go back!!

Nice rooms and breakfast.

Internet too expensive and should be includedin room price.

I chose this hotel as it was close to the office. It was also closed to KaDeWe (a large department store), so going back with heavy bags wasn't that tiring.

First of all, I discovered some black hairs on the pillows when I checked in the room. At the same time, a paper notice on the pillow kindly stated that this room was just cleaned. Second, the internet is 10 euro per day! Free internet is only 30 minutes during the whole period of your stay. Third, I was living in an improved double room, and I expected at least a body gel to be provided in the bathroom, but there was nothing! Only a liquid soap. No shower gel, no shampoo, no bathrobe, no slippers. Nothing of that basics you expect from the 4* hotel. And the last, but not the least. After I checked out of the hotel I found out that I left a leather folder with some documents in the room. I returned 4 hours later and inquired about it. Having made some calls, the girl at the reception told me there was nothing in the room and housekeeping also didn't find anything. I really lost my patience at that moment and had to specify the importants of the documents to me. Only after that the folder was found. Overall, I would advise finding an alternative to this hotel.

Nice location, wonderful place for shooping, and there is a very good restraunt near it called Lochter or Locher. Nice dish you can find. I had a forever memory there. Thanks! Hotel Berlin, Berlin. I remembered you forever. It is a place with so much meaning for me. Berlin, you and me!

The efficiency and kindness of the staff. The general cleanliness. The well-equiped and modern fitness hall (5 modern treadmills all equiped with a led screen!!! Even in my everyday gym it's not like that...) . The breakfast was just great in both quality and quantity!

I never found the stairs to travel quickly between the floors ( we were a group spread on 3 floors)... I hate to wait for the elevator when I can use the stairs (especially for 1 or 2 floor...) maybe they exist but then are well hidden. I'm not speaking about the emergency stairs which are well there and easy to find but lead immediately outside of the building like true emergency stairs in fact ;)

Very expensive internet. Also quality of the connection was terrible although they charge. Breakfast was also very expensive.
