Excellent location as the tube was just down the street, loads of bars & shops nearby too. The hotel was being refurbished at the time of our visit, so cant comment on facilities. Had room service though and the food was very nice. Comfortable & affordable. |

Nice clean room, OK mattress, nice lobby bar, good breakfast. For a shopping visit to KaDeWe the location is OK. Very noisy fresh-air system, which turns off when you leave the room. The hotel was being renovated while we were there, which was an annoyance. |

I had not been worn about the noice.Arriving I was told, that the c.ostucters would start at 9 in the morning, but in fact, they started at 7, The corridors at 5.flor and in the entrance were extremely dusty. May be it is accepted that way. But I did not have a choice |

We are regulars to this hotel as we find that the rooms are good and the staff is friendly. THe breakfast is usually very good with broad selection. The breakfast room is being refurbished at the time of writing. The barman Mr Riebe is absolutely fantastic and so well-mannered, polite and interesting and most helpful. It makes our stay and in fact when we have to stay elsewhere we still pop in to this hotel for drink and a chat. He always helps with my German language too. Niice relaxing lounge. Central location yet quiet. I should not praise this hotel too much otherwise there will be no rooms left for me. |

Excellent trip perfect location,will come again and recommend After being there now it would have good to know that the hotel is undergoing some refurbishment and upgrade.We would have liked to stay in one of the newer rooms then as it was our christmas treat.But still loved and enjoyed it nothing wrong with older rooms. |

It is in a great location being very near several tube stations and in the pleasant upmarket area of Charlottenberg. Most parts of of the city are easily accessible. We stayed three nights and on the evening of the third night we returned to our room to find unwashed tea mugs and water glasses. Also our supply of tea bags had not been replenished. |

Very centrally located, close to public transport and sightseeing spots of Berlin well, even though it was stated on reservation that we will have a double room we first were given a room with two single beds. that was solved quickly but then the double room didn't have a mini bar, no fridge etc |

The hotel was in a great location - close to Zoo Station from which you can easily get all around the city/ to the airports. The rooms were fairly small but functional and the hotel was well kept and clean. Perfect for the price - couldn't ask for more! |

Good location, helpful staff at reception. We booked 2 rooms, we had 1 at 1st floor the other at 8th floor. Could not have non smoking rooms. Bad smell from toilet pipes in the room. Very small rooms. No security box in one of the rooms. When taking a shower the floor was all wet. |

Perfect location in all respects: shopping, public transport, distance from airport Tegel. There is small one (regret to say): in hotel room 722 we stayed for 3 days floor was not cleaned at all. Have no other remarks! |

Excellent location, friendly staff, clean room. On request, the hotel offers a double room with two single beds, which we requested. I emailed them the day before arrival to remind them of that request. When we arrived, we ended up in a room with one double bed anyway. To be fair, if we had complained, they probably would have accommodated us right away, but we didn't bother. Breakfast was not included in the price and too expensive for us to even consider. For a 4* hotel, the room was very small, and the decor of the hotel was dated. |
