Grand City Excelsior Hotel Berlin

Podstawową zaletą hotelu jest jego lokalizacja. Jest położony dostatecznie blisko centrum i niedaleko stacji ZOO. Cena jest relatywnie niska.

Hotel jest stary i swoje najlepsze czasy ma juz za soba. Widac to przede wszystkim w łazienkach. Moja łazienka była w miare czysta. Natomiast pozostali uczestnicy wyjazdu narzekali na czystość (jeden z nich kilka razy zmieniał pokój). Drugi z kolei w pierwsza noc pobytu miał bardzo uciażliwych sasiadów - nie mógł zasnac do 4tej rano. Próbował zgłosic problem w recepcji ale nikt nie odebrał telefonu. Rano po zgłoszeniu problemu obsługa nie zaproponowała mu niczego w ramach rekompensaty. Kolejna rzecz, która mnie zdziwila to fakt iz pomimo czajnika, nie bylo w pokoju zestawu kawa,herbata etc. Minibarek stanowiła pusta lodówka. Jak na 4* hotel jest to po prostu dziwne. Nie rekomenduję tego hotelu gosciom odbywajacym podróż służbową.

Bardzo miła i uczynna obsługa hotelowa, bardzo duży wybór produktów podczas śniadania. Pokój był bardzo przytulnie urządzony. Bardzo dobre rozwiązanie z 'kartą na prąd'.

The hotel was outside all the busy tourist street but easy to access from the airport via the train. It was also only 10-15 minutes by train to the tourist sites. Good shopping close by. The restaurant in the hotel was very nice and reasonably priced

We thought the breakfast was a bit expensive but there were plenty of places to eat outside of the hotel. Just a small complaint, the toilet paper was the worst I have ever had in a hotel let alone a 4 star hotel.

The location was the only good point. near the metro, s-bahn and railway and the shops on Kudam not too far away either.

Too numerous to mention all - serious plumbing problems neccessitated a rapid vaccation of the room - no apologies from hotel. Reception staff was unfriendly and sullen, more concerend with their monitors than guests. Rooms 20 years behind times. Kettle and cups but no tea or coffee, when queried on the second morning we received some but the cups were not washed and saches not replaced. There was a mini-bar and a tray with 3 beer? glasses and an opener but the bar was empty.

Good Location. Good price. Good room

The reception staff is not friendly.

The Hotel was close to a main public transport hub and shopping district, but still on a quiet street

The Hotel decor is stuck in a time warp, 1970's timber paneling and naff carpeting

Central location, friendly staff, the standard was all right and our room was located towards a quiet backyard. There was also peace and quiet in the evening and at night.

Personally I missed a pool and a fitness center.

Excellent value, given how weak the pound is against the euro I'm amazed that we paid so little for a very comfortable and convenient hotel.

Breakfast was expensive at 16 euros each but for just 10.5 euros for two people the Filbuhne restaurant next door does a wonderful breakfast platter of cold meats, cheese, fruit, salad and hot rolls.

It's convenience to the banking Centre

Very high charges for internet services. Personally will not stay at this hotel until internet access is free!!
