B&B Hotel Braunschweig  

The hotel was easily accessable off the a2 motorway so it did not require a major deviation off our route. The family room has a mezanine floor with two single beds for young kids so there was enough room for us all.

The hotels directions are not very clear once off the motorway and it took us a while to find the way in; the roadway is also the entrance to the McDonalds next door. Also, the roadway in has no pavement, so leaving that evening to find a restaurant was difficult with a toddler and a buggy. There is no restaurant in the hotel for evening meals so you are either limited to the fast-food outlets nearby or a walk into town to find proper food. The stairs leading up to the mezanine are very steep and even though there is a gate at the top it does not lock so there was the chance of a child falling down the stairs. Breakfast is not included in the price of the room which is not immediately obvious when booking; in the uk, anything described as b&b means bed and breakfast, so there is the assumption that breakfast will be free.

Staff helpful to English speaking( Australian travellers), assisited when requested to print off and important document off a pen drive which was really helpful. Book our next stay iwhich was in Munich b & b Hotel

De resten van het IJzeren Gordijn zijn nog erg zichtbaar in Braunschweig (Helmstedt) Dat is interessant. Het hotel en met name de familiekamer was erg leuk.

インターネット無料、駐車場無料、SKY TV無料。アウトバーンに近いが閑静。マクドナルドとバーガーキングが隣接されているので便利。

自動チェックイン機が使えなかった。禁煙室を希望したのに喫煙室だった。同じ系列の他のB&Bにはハンドタ- オルがあったがここにはなかった。

Liegt direkt an der Autobahn, Parkplatz vor der Tür. Ruhig

Het was voor ons alleen een extra overnachting richting Berlijn

Die Freundlichkeit, die Sauberkeit und der praktische Komfort des Zimmers haben mich beim angebotenen Preis sehr überzeugt. Der defekte Kaffeeautomat wurde sofort mit einem anderen Angebot an Kaffee ausgeglichen.

Leider muss man bei geschlossenem Fenster schlafen wg. des Lärms von der Autobahn und des Geruches von McDonalds. Dafür gibt es eine Klimaanlage, die das Ganze möglich macht.
