Score from 310 reviews Good
We liked the cleanliness of the rooms and easy access to them. The breakfast was good too to start the day off! Spaces are very sufficient and tidy.
Breakfast, access to public transport
No English TV channels e.g. BBC World, needed key to get into the buildingand only one key offered initially between 5.
There was no free Wifi. I think in nowadays it's a neccesary option.
Good value for money. Comfortable room.
Occupants smoking in the rooms Street noise.
Nice price and great value on the morning breakfast. 24 hour reception for late night check in.
A lot of parking space and the metro station was near.
There was no elevator.
I dont know any hostel where you can get a 6eu per day 4* breakfast!!! They beds were very comfortable too. Just outside the city but easily recheable by tram.
I liked the feel like you were at home
It was a bit far away
Breakfast and decor of be place was nice
Very noisy traffic at night. Toilet and shower are clean only once in the morning, no more cleaning during the day and they are not clean. Reception staff are not welcoming customer. Too expensive compared to what I get. Never again!
Everything!!! Don't go there!! It's expensive and terrible
The breakfast is copious and delicious.
Very small room
close to metro station
a bit disorganized
Beds were very comfortable, they have a curtain and shelf for your stuff. Kitchen was OK. Reception was excellent as it was the same as for the nice hotel it's attached to. They rent cheap bikes to cruise around on. Showers were very good (they are communal like a locker room though). The place looks amazing, I think its a converted beer hall. Cheap for Hannover.
Not their fault but the trams weren't running when I was there which made getting into town a bit of a pain.
The bathroom was not so clean and the lockers made so much noise in combination with the padlock.
The idea of having own private atmosphere in bed with curtain and own lamp on bed. Besides, it is also good to have a facility to cook.
The safety is almost zero as the hostel tend to rent the room for temporary workers with totally other purposes than traveller in order to fill up the empty bed. Furthermore the storage place with lock is TOO small. Cleaniness has still got plenty room for improvement.
there was NOTHING possitive
There was NO space to move inside the room. ONLY one bathroom for 24 people This is not a place to stay.
-Price Quality -Public transport close -Free parking
-No free WIFI and not in reach of room -Noise from big group of youngsters sleeping in the dorm rooms
I thought it was disgusting to hike the prices just because there was a demand due to the `Hannover messe`, for example we arrived Saturday and paid approx. 45 Euros, Sunday it went up to 93 Euro`s and Monday I was quoted 159 Euro`s for the same room ,this is blatent greed and bad for tourism ,also there were advertising on the internet at the same time rooms from 35 Euro`s and that is misleading and deceitful as soon as you clicked to book the price went up to into the hundreds ,you tell me how they justify such a price hike ,it is not good practice and the Germans should hang their heads down low ,I would not recommend this or any hotel engaging in these extortionate practices .I would expect far more ethical practices from the so called leaders of germany . Just disgusted !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
very close to Metro Station, nice hotel environment
Worst internet connection Poor cleaning Only one key for a room of two.
It was during a big fair nearby, but even considering that, it was very expensive.
The location is good for ppl visiting Cebit. The hostel is also very clean.
It was by far the most expensive hostel I have ever stayed with the worst guests ever. At 4 am, a bunch of drunk guests ( I am not go mention their nationality) came into the hostel screaming, yelling, laughing really loud. Obviously, ppl from the dorms went to hall and asked them to be quite but instead those jerks started to make even more noise. I called the reception ( the hostel doesnt have any staff) and only 30 minutes later someone came. Seriously?!
breakfast staff - reception location
not enough toilets for the tourists cleaning
