Cleanliness, room was spotless, with a .very good shower Happy and polite staff, good choice of breakfast.
Directions. Mine were given as the Altona district, it wasn't. You must drive away from the center on the road given for approximately 5km, hotel is on the right.
Impertinent gentleman at the front desk Rude waitress Wi-Fi not working Hotel being extended to detached property
Sehr nah zum FührungsAkademie der Bundeswehr.
Ziemlich intensive befahrene Straße nebenan
Great location and friendly staff. The breakfast was also excellent!
The room could have been cleaner, but it was acceptable.
Clean, big room, good breakfast, Wi-Fi worked well.
Road side rooms are very noisy. You get up at 05:30 by traffic noise.
A lot of noise from the street. If you plan to stay there, ask/book a room on the oposite site....
No English TV channel/cable to entertain overseas guests. There should be a tea making facility to be made available in the room as the restaurants are not always open.
Very unfriendly staff!!! Totally unhelpful!!! This hotel really needs to think about it's value to its customers. Its staff are without doubt more interested in themselves than the service they should be providing to their residents!! We only stayed there because of its close location to where we are searching for a house to live in. We will never stay there again and we will always recommend people to stay somewhere else!!!
Lovely area that the hotel was situated in. The pleasant manner of the hotel staff and the comfortable rooms.
Location. Ak for a quiet room at the back.
Basic hotel, good to spend one night in. No minibar, so bring your own water.
The location of Hotel Behrmann was within easy walking distance from Blankenese Station on the S1 railway line from Hamburg Airport. My single room was comfortable and warm (very cold in Hamburg at the time we went) and the en-suite was perfectly adequate. The restaurant was ok, but nothing to shout about. Had dinner there once and gave it a 5/10. The breakfast however, was very good (typically German - cooked meats, hard boiled eggs and rubbery brown bread) and was enough to get us through until lunchtime. There were a few other restaurants in the vicinity with more extensive menus, so your choice is not confined to the hotel restaurant. Although there plenty of local buses, we didn't use them, but the train service was superb. You don't have to wait very long before a train comes along to take you to anywhere in 'Greater Hamburg'. The staff were very polite and helpful and all spoke English.
There was nothing about my stay in the Hotel Behrmann that I didn't like, but one negative point was this: On arriving at Blakenese train station, we didn't know which direction to go to get to Hotel Behrmann, so we got into a taxi outside the station. There was a language problem, so I showed the lady cabbie the printout of the hotel's name and address. She stared at it for a few seconds, then set off with one eye on the road and the other eye on her laptop which was perched on the passenger's seat and playing a movie! She pulled into the driveway of a hotel which we assumed was the Behrmann, but after we had paid her and she had gone, we discovered that this was not the Behrmann and we ended up walking further than we would have walked if we had gone straight there on our arrival.
Nice room size and staff. Location is on a busy street but close to railway station etc. good parking,
Shower frame was dirty in room 37, TV very small, no desk ,restaurant bill could not be paid with credit card ,
very friendly reception staff; nice breakfast and breakfast hours very long - very convenient, especially on a weekend
house keeping - as there is no sign available to indicate not to be disturbed, I was first woken up on Saturday morning at 8:15am (!) by housekeeping wanting to clean the room; followed by another visit at 9:30am. Similar occurrence on Sunday, where I was first disturbed at 9:20am - this being my check-out day, I understood the urgency even less I would strongly suggest the introduction of door signs. The only negative aspect of an otherwise very nice, clean and friendly hotel
kind people very good breakfast comfortable room
Located a little way out of city but on a good bus and train routes. Check in staff very polite and helpful. Room very clean and comfortable, spacious bathroom. Breakfast very good choices. Would return
