No kettle to make a hot drink ,no fridge, it's just a room you are paying for, probably dear cos we went during the wine festival and triathlon, the reception may not be open if you need help but we were ok the 2 weeks we stayed. Carpets were pulled and very dated wallpaper, furniture and lighting but the bed was comfy and sheets lovely and white!
The location is perfect for the Hamburg city centre, unless you want to go drinking etc , it's perfect for just going back to rest, it's in a nice shopping area, nice restaurants down stairs. Away from red light destrict near the railway station. Great transport, 25 mins tube ride to airport (€3.50) , lots of buses and tube stations. We don't mind city noise, it's to be expected. The room was very big for the 3 of us, hot water in shower, the room was cleaned and made every day, but they don't have a do not disturb sign so have to make sure you hear when they knock!
