Very friendly staff and good Italian food! The family room's bathroom was not great at all. Due to the fact it didn't had any window and the fan was probably not enough, it was very humid and already strong signs of mould on the wall and shower curtain. |

View of Rhine and convenience to Rhine, river boats and old world village and castle. Free parking. Expensive accommodation and food. Noise from railway behind hotel. More two star than three star on breakfast and accommodation. Bathroom below standard. |

Cruise up and back on the Rhine. Close to the Mosel Valley. It needs an elevator. Rooms are quite moldy. |

Friendly welcome, nice room with balcony and super view over the Rhine, and, if you peered around the end wall, the wonderful Marksburg Castle. Italian cuisine available on the premises, although we didn't try it out. Very handy for the castle, the pretty village of Braubach, and boat trips on the Rhine, which depart from a jetty 200m from the hotel. Décor a little too bright; quite a lot of noise from the river traffic and the railway, which we didn't mind, but could bother light sleepers as it goes on into the night a little. |

The position of the hotel next to the Rhine River. The breakfast staff and service were excellent. All in all I would recommend this hotel and would probably stay again. |

The staff were very helpful, efficient and welcoming. The setting beside the rhine was excellent and the breakfast was reasonably good. The excessive noise from the trians during the night would prevent me staying here again. It is because of the incredible noise from the very busy railway that I would not recommend a stay here which is a pity because everything else about the hotel was good. |

The view from the hotel was great as we had a riverside room. The Breakfast was good also. The photos on the website were misleading. The room was tiny compared to the photos on the web and did not represent good value for money. The exterior on arrival was ugly and the decor was very dated. |

The hotel had good views of the river and the Italian owners were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast had a limited choice and items were not replaced when gone. The hotel menu also had a limited choice mainly Italian dishes and was a bit pricey. Best to eat out in the town. |

Location is nice, in a smaller town directly on the river and next to the park with a ferry landing. (Can take a boat tour). Two good places to eat 5 minutes away in town. Older style traditional hotel over a pizza shop and outside eating area. VG parking. Good for families. |

The manager was very personable, they had a clean room and a resturant attached. It was a decent hotel for the price. They do not have some of the traditional services I am accustomed with such as wake up calls, they lost a message sent to me about an important meeting. And they failed to replace soap, and supplies in the bathroom. |

The staff were very friendly, and helped us with Italian/German. The food was both excellent and varied, and reasonably priced. It was very interesting to watch the hundreds of barges and freight going up and down the Rhine from our balcony. The landscape is varied and within easy reach of The Mosel and Lahn Valleys, and the towns of Cochem and Limberg are worth visiting. |
