AZIMUT Hotel Dresden (ex Hotel Belmondo Dresden)  

The room was clean, comfortable and reasonably furnished, with a very well-appointed bathroom. And although it's some way outside the city, Dresden's excellent tram service has a stop very close to the hotel, so location wasn't a problem at all.

The hotel's website claims that every room has internet access. The hotel's own literature, the guide you find in the rooms, claims that every room has internet access. So it's probably not unreasonable to think that somewhere in the hotel, you'll find internet access. Nope. Not a chance. And they don't seem terribly interested in fixing it either. Oh, and the laundry service isn't every day (and is very expensive), so don't plan on getting anything washed. Or on having more than the most basic, functional furnishings in your room. Azimut Dresden is, unfortunately, a budget hotel at not-budget prices - although, if you can't find anything else, it'll do.

One of the best hotel staff we have ever met. The breakfast was various and delicious. The hotel restaurant was also serving excellent meals. It's 25 minutes far from the city center, but the transport connections are very good. Clean and spatious rooms.

The bed is too small and very uncomfortable. This is available for double rooms and also for twin rooms. Only German tv channels, Discovery was doubled in German and no music available on tv. No business office, which is mandatory for a 4 stars hotel.

Excellent value for money and very friendly. Just 2 minutes walk to the tram stop and then 20 minutes tram ride to the centre

This was the best hotel value of our entire trip in Europe. Very nice rooms and heating racks in the bathroom was wonderful. It was near a bus stop to town central and it had a secure adjacent parking lot.

Did not have bkf there as it was very expensive for a buffet.

You should buy larger curtains. Indeed, the current ones let the sunlight pass in the morning.

The single room on the 4th floor is not so clean.

We only stayed overnight, but the rooms were extremely comfortable. We are a family of 6 and were able to get 2 rooms together, and the reception was open until midnight.

Breakfast was expensive, so we did not have it.

Hosbetality

The staff at the hotel were very obliging and nothing was too much trouble. Have stayed before and thoroughly recommend it

Only complaint was that we were not made aware that the restaurant was going through reservations and therefore did not serve evening meals.

My room was facing the tram station and it was too loud in the night even after closing the windows. Also, NO WLAN ! Breakfast was expensive.

The staff really helped us with the train system. Great value for us.

Neighborhood was not as nice as others.
