Excellent location, seconds from the U and S Bahn trains and trams. Really helpful, friendly staff. Good restaurants and bars within a minutes walk. Facilities quite basic but absolutely fine for a weekend break and at this price it was a bargain

Hotel was good. Everything one would expect fro the price.
The breakfast choice was extremely poor for 7€, so much so I ate across the road at a cafe. My room was directly above the Kebab shop which closed at 4.00am! The loud noise and shouting from people meant I got no sleep until after closing time!
really great location , and nice staff Ill stay in this hotel at the next time
Location, can walk to all main sites from here
For the money we paid, we got everything we expected. The hotel staff was very friendly and kindly provided everything we asked for, without any frowns. The location is perfect, both in terms of the nice quarter of town, many interesting restaurants around it and transport connections. We walked by foot to Alexanderplatz for 15-20 mins, and U6 is right accross the street. Rooms were okay furnished - they had everything you need for a short stay. WiFi signal was strong, and we didn't pay much money for it. I totally would recommend this hotel for people who will not spend much time in their room or look for a good neighborhood, where they can experience an exciting part of Berlin.
Keep in mind that there is no mini fridge and no elevator. Also, the hotel could use a tad bit more cleanliness, plus I was very disappointed that there is no actual room where you can leave your baggage if you arrive early. Our stayed at the stairway, and not that anything happened to it, but it was still worrisome.
In the center of everything. Near all communications,
The Location is really good.
The pictures are deceiving, you should expect that the furniture is used and not in the best condition, it is not that clean also in the room, you will see spots on the floor...
The hotel was situated in a lively area with lots of choice for bars and restaurants. It was also just a short walk to Alexanderplatz and Berlin Hbf.
The hotel felt grubby and was in need of updating out of the 1980s! We were woken up every morning with bins being emptied and we were unfortunate to be there when they decided to dig the street up! Although that wasn't the hotel's fault! If you just want a bed for the night and nothing else it's fine and with the price you can't expect much more!
Location is good for access to city centre
Being told on arrival that there "had been some over booking" ! and that our room in Linienstrasse was not available , but that we were booked into the "newer and probably better" part of the hotel 10 minutes walk away. Free breakfast was not great compensation !
The only good point was the location 1 mile walk to Alexandra Platz.
First impressions were correct. Cleanliness was an issue. Removed 16 black hairs from my bedsheet on the1st night. Shower cubicle and sink were in the bedroom, which we were not aware of. Bathroom mentioned in room description. Toilet in hall which we did know, however smelly and unclean. Very small room, uncomfortable beds meant little sleep. Tried to find another hotel it was so bad, but big event in Berlin meant none available. If you like home comforts and have hygiene standards it's not for you, beware.
