Novotel Berlin Mitte  

First hostel and hotel I have been to without free cable/WIFI internet access - surprising and annoying.

Great location, friendly staff, good breakfast....a good base for a city break, 5 mins walk to Alexander platz and its station for easy access to the city's subway system

I liked the breakfast very much. It was close to the metro station too. It was a very quiet (within and the surrounding environment) family hotel (sounds impossible but, nevertheless, true).

Quiteness of the area. Although it was close to the metro station and a max.5 minutes from a big shopping center, there was not much life (cafes, street shops, etc.) in the immediate surrounding area. This would have been fine if it were summer, but in the middle of the snowy and freezing winter, I would have liked to stay at a more lively area.

It's a great hotel and the location is perfect.

Reception personel were friendly and cooperative, rooms were big and comfortable, breakfast and the bar were very good.

Good food at restaurant and for breakfast although a bit expensive. Room was good size and very clean. The staff in the restaurant were excellent - friendly, efficient, etc.

Some staff were excellent and some were not very friendly or helpful. Paying for internet is not good, although it was not as expensive as at some hotels. The pillows were uncomfortable (too big) and although it said in the brochure in the room that "a selection of pillows" was available, the receptionist said they only had the ones in the room and suggested I use one of the small sofa cushions instead.

The hotel is well located 300m far away Markisches Müseum (U2 red line) metro statation and 15 min walk to Alexander Platz. Room is large and free coffee in it. Breakfast is very rich and tasteful I have ever seen in abroad. There was no bothersome event or things at the hotel. Everything was great.

An extremely central location which is great to explore Berlin. The staff were very friendly and efficient. Large room with lovely bathroom (tub!).

The design of the rooms is somewhat pale. When coming in in daylight you first think it's a hospital room. But then again it is still a very good value for the price.

I love their bed. Linens are always clean and really comfortable.

I made a reservation for our president, The reservation is for 1 person, 1 room, 1 night. However, the person at the front desk is telling us the reservation is for 2 rooms. I still don't know why this happened.

Charged for wifi, and provided limited 'free' internet access in their foyer which was continual led by people checking their Facebook. Room service not up to scratch for a hotel of that level.

This hotel is extremely well located, close to the U rail, close to tourist locations. It is well priced with excellent rooms.
