Excellent location, clean and well designed facilities.

Great hotel. Friendly, helpful staff. Internet access is not free which seems mean-spirited.

The food from the room service menu holds a high standard. That goes as well for the brekfast buffet. The two chefs that make omelets at the breakfast buffet do a good job.

The minibar was not restocked during the stay.

The staff were exceptional. Because of our international flight, we arrived much earlier than the standard check in time and were given a room which turned out to be an upgrade from what we originally booked. The breakfast buffet was terrific and worth the extra money. We had no problems whatsoever with not being fluent in the German language. Each staff member we encountered spoke English as well as German.

Localization is very good, just few steps from KaDeWe, Europa Center, Zoo etc. Area is very nice, peaceful. Hotel is quite nice, personnel is very helpful. Rooms are a bit too small but very comfortable and tidy. Very quick check-in and check-out.

location, facilities and discounted rate

I liked its close proximity to transport, shops, city tour and sights and surprisingly the Zoo, I thoroughly enjoyed my visit with the animals. Once inside the hotel it seemed a world apart from the husle of city. I had wonderful treatments in the spa and enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere of the Spa, Bar and hotel generally

I found the room very hot and the street was noisy with the windows open. However, this wouldn't stop me returning to the hotel or recommending it to others.

Consistency of quality of service, cleanliness of room

There were unexpected works to the Sauna, swimming pool etc that made us sad as we picked this hotel also for these actually (even if they offered an alternative by crossing the street to go to another hotel). Otherwise, as anecdote, funny to see that the lady at reception could not directly help me finding the Jewish Museum, the memorial of Holocaust etc (all key touristic spots in Berlin), on the map, and neede the internet. A bit amazing and surprising ...

A big City hotel. Very clean everything as it should be. Really comfortable beds. Quiet even though it was in the City Centre. Great location, near Zoo station and Tiergarten. Extremely convenient bus stop, just outside the hotel for into and round Ctiy bus trips.

Spa was not open but could use the one in the Intercontinental across the road without any problem. Breakfast was quite expensive at 17 Euros, gave that a miss and went just round the corner for excellent breakfast at 7 Euros.
