Angleterre Hotel

Położenie.

Hotel jest bardzo blisko Checkpoint Charlie i muzeum Żydow, a jego niewątpliwą zaletą są bezpłatne miejsca parkingowej na uliczce obok.

Uwaga oszukują. Najpierw wyciagnęli 10 euro dziennie więcej za "upgrade" a nastepnie skierowali do taniej części hotelu (góra 3 gwiazdki) do maleńkiego pokoju z zepsutym oknem. Dopiero po awanturze zmienili na pokój w części Angleterre (rzeczywiście 4 ****)

Swietna lokalizacja

Pomimo strefy bezdymnej,bardzo wyczuwalny zapach tytoniu na klatkach schodowych.Pokoje maja mniejsza powierzchnie niz jest w opisie

it was a perfect location for the 20th anniversary of the berlin wall. everyone was pleasant & accomodating. i would suggest this hotel to anyone that wants to be centrally located to all neighborhoods, both touristy & off the beaten path.

The bed was very comfortable and the suite was composed of two large rooms.

We did not particularly like the lobby. There were too many things on display and the counter was strangely constructed. In a four star hotel, the lobby should look a bit more welcoming and modern.

The hotel's central location was excellent for my purposes; the meetings and the dinner I attended were in walking distance from the hotel. But if I had been in Berlin with my family on a leisure trip Angleterre's location in close to Alexanderplatz, Unter den Linden etc would have been ideal. Friedrichstrasse is also a great shopping street. The hotel was neat and modern. No complaints at all.

The buffet breakfast was excellent. The staff were very helpful and friendly, no problem getting taxis.

The conversion from an old building to a modular and comfortable hotel

The bar could do with a few more staff, as maybe the restaurant.The food in the restaurant was not great, but was made up for by the wine list, the same as the bar.

Very clean hotel. The staff was friendly, great breakfestbuffet (but a little expensive, but no problem - many small cheap breakfeast cafés nearby).

Internet should be free

it was right in the centre of this ancient village - very accessible to attractions and restaurants

although the room was to be non smoking, the smell on entry was overpowering.
