The location was perfect for us - outside the green zone (we have an old car) with easy access to the U-Bahn. Offroad parking was provided. It was very good value for a large family - 3 separate rooms and a large bathroom. Maybe the street and surrounding buildings appear a bit old and dirty and in need of some cleaning and restoration. Es verdiente den Namen nicht.- 2. Wir hatten unseren Hund mit angemeldet und bekamen eine Bestätigung mit dem Hinweis, pro Tag € 5,00 zu entrichten. 3. Vor Ort wurde uns plötzlich mitgeteilt, wir dürften nicht mit dem Hund in den Frühstücksraum gehen. Am ersten Morgen traute ich mich nicht, etwas diesbezüglich zu sagen, weil ich zunächst immer den nächsten Morgen abwarte, da gab es dann nvt ohne Ton. Damit kann man leben. Zimmer war sauber, frische Handtücher gibt es täglich. Auf Nachfrage haben wir auch einen zweiten Schlüssel problemlos bekommen. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist mit 25 Euro p.P. und Nacht im 4er-Zimmer top! Fahrstuhl funktionierte auch gut. Gardinen vor den Fenstern fehlten leider zum Verdunkeln und so waren wir um 4:30 Uhr bereits wach. Bitte unbedingt übergardinen o ä zum Zuziehen nachrüsten! Man meerkt den Zimmern an, dass es sich um einfachst renovierte Altbau-Mietwohnungen handelt. Wer auf diesen speziellen Charm steht, ist hier gut aufgehoben. Die Lage in Steglitz ist sehr gut. “Mainly, location. The hotel was only 10 minutes walk from the main train station (Berlin Hauptbanhof), and the Natural History museum was almost next to the hotel. Also, I arrived the day of the 50th anniversary of the Berlin wall and one of the exhibitions was a 15 minute walk from the hotel. Also, the people at reception were very nice. Another important point is that it was one of the only hotels in the area that offered free internet in the rooms, if I recall correctly.”
