The staff and location of the hotel are excellent looking forward to my return.
We were centrally located with plenty of eating places close by. 5 minutes from nearest u-bahn. Mini bar was very reasonably priced and so too was the hotel bar. Free internet.
Very warm in rooms and controls not easy to understand. Waiting for lifts
Great value for money, excellent location. Staff were friendly, got given free wifi and the room was very clean.
When booked asked for a double bed, but got given two singles, probably could of asked to change to a double but didnt bother.
Whilst breakfast was good we felt it was under staffed and they struggled to keep up with demand One of the bar staff was very rude and arrogant just because he was having a bad day he should not take it out on the guests
wasnt told the bar was closed for refurb except on posters about the lift and room
It was very clean It was very close to U & S stations Great value for money Friendly Staff (so difficult in Berlin) Quiet Water pressure, Hot water all the times
Small Tv - only German Channels
Unbeatable value and location
Spartan decor,no tea/coffee making facilities in room
Very good location, excellent breakfast (avaiable until 12 a.m. at weekends), silent.
Just one thing, i booked a double bed ( on the reservation and in "another things") and i got a twin bed... bad bad
Very helpful and informative staff. Direct link to an efficient taxi service. Excellent location to a busy nightlife and also U & S Bahns. Also within walking distance of the Mitte, for the energetic! Good breakfast.
I liked that we were allowed to bring our dog for only 5.50 Euros a night.
Pillows were gross.
Very nice hotel in excellent location.
Really nice hotel in a nice location for a very reasonable price
The beds and the location.
Room on our floor, 301was a worn, tarnished, stained room with worn carpet which wasn´t very pleasant and welcoming to say the least. At breakfast buses travelling to Berlin invaded the breakfast room. Apperantly the Mark hotel is a bustravellers hotel. Mostly from eastern Europe or former DDR. Breakfast was not a joy. A long queue was building up every morning and the poor and cheap buffet was not sufficient. The hotel is a ** + hotel not more.
Location is great - just off the KuDam. Nice friendly staff and clean and tidy hotel
No Free WiFi, no iron in the room, no tea and coffee making in the room. No satellite TV channels in English only one news channel and no gym facility in the hotel.
Location, both bedroom and bathroom were clean, heating/air conditioning adjustable instantly. Staff extremely helpful.
Minor points: No kettle available and only chargeable ironing facilities.
The customer service at the reception when we first arrived and throughout our stay was fantastic, the technician who was sent to our room to help us with the door was very helpful, friendly and arrived within minutes of me asking the receptionist for help. The room was spacious, clean and quiet. The bed was very comfortable (for a double bed they use 2 small duvets, 1 for either person, which was a little strange however It did not disrupt our sleep). The rooms were quite warm however we were able to leave the window soon through the night without hearing a sound. The bathroom was very clean and spacious. The breakfast on the 2 mornings which we ate was beautiful, excellent selection and something for everyone. The service at breakfast was poor (maybe not enough staff on) thankfully on 2 of the mornings we got a table straight away and only needed the waiter to provide coffee which was done when asked. The hotel is located close to the train station, shops, bars and reataurants however to go to see the berlin wall, holocaust memorial, Brandenburg gate etc it was a 65-80 minute walk. Having said that we enjoyed the walk and seeing everything we possibly could. We would definitely stay in this hotel again.
On one morning we went down for breakfast and the only available table was one stacked with dishes from the previous guests, despite that we sat down and attempted to get a member of staff to clean this for us. I asked two waiters to clean the table and neither did. I also asked one for a cup and knives and forks which I got. Six times the same waiter passed our table, and it was obvious that we could not eat or even find space on the table to set down our cup of coffee. Twice we asked this waiter to clean our table, this did not happen.. However he had no trouble in cleaning the table beside us for some guests. I was quite disappointed on this particular morning and after waiting 35 minutes to have our table cleaned we left without breakfast.
Excellent location close to underground shops restaurants and train station. Staff were very friendly a and helpful. There was always plenty to eat at breakfast even at busy times
Our travelling companions were on the first floor where they experienced some traffic noise occasionally
Due to work on the other side of the street, it can be very noisy from 6 or 7 a.m. The corridors and reception area is extremely hot and unpleasant.
very unfriendly personal bad internet old bathroom it is a good 3 stars hotel, but not the 4 stars hotel for 900 euro per 4 nights!
central for all trasport around the city
Location is amazing, great staff, I was supposed to check in the day before I arrived and everything was arranged at no extra charge... Great hotel!!!
Location, buffet breakfast, staff very helpful.
Had to pay for wifi, never saw the barman in the bar therefore difficult to get a drink.
Location near a lidls...for cheap supplies and the kefurstendamm for shopping, and the tube station for trips further afield.
Room smelt of smoke. Building works started each morning at 6am...incredibly noisy even with with windows shut.
