Nice large room. Check in staff was great, as was dining room staff during breakfast.
Shower wasn't the greatest. Found housekeeping staff a tad abrasive.
After a disappointing night at a Comfort Inn Suites, it was a pleasure to experience the excellent Best Western. The location was great, full size towels and the bed comfortable. The balcony overlooking the Rhine was the frosting on the cake. Breakfast was actually worth eating.
The cobblestone streets leading up to the hotel were a challenge in the rain, but I guess it kept the city safe from marauding bands of Mongol motorcyclists. ;-)
Everything was fine
Breakfast in the room was a bit of a let down, due I think, to a breakdown in communication.
It was a long day, driving from Kiel to our first overnight stop on our way to the south of France. Very pleased I booked Best Western Hotel am Munster. Breisach am Rhein was an interesting and lovely village. It was nice to drive off the motorway and through countryside among the vines on nearby slopes. We parked the car near the hotel. During the holiday period I can imagine it gets busy but the hotel has a private garage. We were greeted by a very friendly young man at the reception who gave us information and a map of the village. A week before we were due to stay I had upgraded our room for a few euro more to a Comfort double room. And we were delighted. It was huge. We were even lucky to have a double balcony with views of the River Rhine. It was a pity we did not have enough time to visit the Spa . A good nights sleep and a good breakfast and then we were on the road again. A nice start to the holiday. Stayed at this hotel 12th June 2014
Wifi in the room non-existent. In the Lounge unworkable. Very inconvenient if you want to do a hotel-booking for the next night.
Great view from balcony
The staff were most helpful and friendly. The hotel is beautifully situated and the meals were excellent.
The value for money is good and includes also swimming pool and sauna.
The breakfast has been served late.
Restaurant was quite good. Room was spacious.
Very friendly staff; great location; good food and wonderful breakfast; reasonable prices
Obviously the toilet in the bathroom had not been cleaned since the previous guest had used it
