I booked the most expensive room for the sole reason that it was the only room category with air conditioning, and the weather was expected to be very warm that day. Morever, I even sent a message to the hotel about this. However, it turned out that the air conditioning did not work -- upon turning it on the room became even hotter, reaching 26 C. There was a previous review pointing to a similar problem -- I should have heeded it. The air con system is centralized, so the other rooms, so said the staff, would have the same problem. For those arriving by car the hotel may be easy to find, but not if you are coming by bike -- although only 2 km or so from the main train station, to reach it you need to go through a maze of highways, paths, brides, underpasses, etc which is very hard to follow, especially because some are for cars, some for bicycles, some for pedestrians. I got lost every time (3) I went in our out. Unfortunately there are no restaurants (besides the small one at restaurant itself) around, so this is a problem. The map provided by the hotel is not helpful at all, as it does not really distinguish between highway, path, underground crossing, etc (a map showing each of these in different colors would have been a great help). My room was located in a new building accross the main one, as still partially under construction, in the evening there was no way to enter except by the garage, but the staff did not alert me to this.
The staff was most pleasant.
The breakfast was excellent, it was also possible to have breakfast outside and that was delightful. The shower is excellent.
