It was very clean. We got fresh towels everyday and the price was reasonable. It is also close to the train station. The rooms were also spacious and quiet.

It is on the outer area of Berlin, but the neighborhood was fine and felt safe.

Location was good. Access to public transportation was good. Shopping mall was very close. The best was the staff at the hotel. They were excellent. Better than the Hilton. They were stuffy.

Have stayed here more than once. Service and standards have been constant. Good location with shops and restaurants around. Metro train station is adjacent.

Reasonably priced for a 4* Hotel

(1) I do hope you are not there on business that extends over a weekend - as there is no laundry service on Saturday or Sunday, so bring extra shirts and underwear! When you ask for assistance, you are not assisted, but pointed to a nearby Cleaning Shop, which when approached on a Saturday morning, as it was in my case, tells you you can have your clothes laundered, but it takes 5 days!!! (I.E. you get them back the following Wednesday). So... That leaves you with a laundry, which is another half a km away and which is unassisted and where everything is in German, so good luck to any tourist or business traveller to the Capital of Germany, Berlin; (2) the actual rooms "appear" comfortable - beds are too soft though, so after a couple of days you awaken with a sore back; (3) the water pressure in the shower (no bath - is that usual for a 4*?) is non-existent and the hot water takes some 2-3 minutes to come through; (4) the door does not have a card to hang that says, do not disturb, but has a knob that you turn which we supposed turned on a red light outside informing the cleaners not to disturb you - we were there on vacation and so tried to sleep in, turning the knob to, do not disturb - both mornings we awoke early yo numerous knocks on the door asking us to clean the room; not how it is supposed to work is it? (5) Finally, the rooms are very tired and old-fashioned.

The train was just about a block away. It made it very easy to travel all around the city without using our car. The room was large enough we could put our son's crib around the corner by the door and we did not have to go to sleep at 19:00!!!

The staff where very nice and helpful. The hotel's location is great. Breakfast was an awesome experience ! Rathaus Steglitz U-Bahn station is right in front if the hotel.

The shower's water temperature in my room fluctuated occasionally which was irritating, but I guess that's an easy fix. I was so busy that I didn't mention it to the reception. I'm sure they would've sorted it out had I told them.

What can we say. The room I booked was a family room and we had a choice of a water bed. The whole hotel was so comfortable and accommodating. Train nearby as well as restaurants etc. The bar was so comfortable and offered advise on sightseeing and we had breakfast every morning with such a range of foods. Even a dinner which was a delight with attentive staff. Recommend this hotel as 4 to 5 star for sure. LAWS - Australia.

Wow, there is not really anything we did not like only I suppose no service to take your luggage to your room but we had been very spoilt so far!!!

I was looking to have a double bed instead of 2 single bed

Although the hotel is not in the heart of Berlin, the S1 is across the street providing easy access the the center of the city. The hotel itself is superb in all respects. The breakfast buffet is very good, but the buffet at the Marriott in Frankfurt was better. The hotel is next to a major shopping street, allowing one to intermingle with Berliners, rather than mostly tourists as is the case in the center of the city.

On my second stay I was given a room with a waterbed. I'd never slept on a waterbed before, but I had a great night's sleep and was grateful for the experience. However, the desk person should have asked if a waterbed was acceptable at checkin.

We have stayed at this hotel a few times before and we fine the hotel very friendly and in a good location for site seeing,shops,underground and S-Barn.As you can see I've rated the hotel 100%.

I thought that the room booked had air conditioning but found on arrival that was not correct but the booking was changed to a different room at an additional cost.
