This hotel is very well located. Rooms are not very large, but very modern and clean. When we left, the cashier handed us a bottle of mineral water and a Santa Klaus brioche for the trip : a realyy nice gesture ! Thanks |

We stayed at the new part of the hotel, so the room was very clean and modern. The reception staff was very friendly. The location is very central, so everything is a short walk away. They have a computer downstairs with free internet, which is good for checking your email, etc. There was no screen separating the shower from the rest of the bathroom which meant that the whole bathroom was completely wet if you weren't careful enough, but a different room had a shower with a screen, so maybe it was just that room. Also the king size bed is just two mattresses pushed together and they moved around so much that by morning there was a big gap between the mattresses. |

Hotel had a great location halfway between the train station and Old Town. The hotel staff was very friendly. There is a new wing of the hotel that still smells like a construction site. Our room had a strong smell of paint and just general construction. The halls smelled of it too. No other rooms were available so we had to deal with the smell. We were told that there was free wifi all over the hotel but could not get it in our room. Had to walk to the older part of the hotel to get access. Construction started right outside our window on Saturday morning at 8 am. Although brand new, the room was quite small, poorly designed and cramped. Pitch dark halls until you finally walked under a motion sensor to activate the lights. Overall, hotel is overpriced and trying to be too ny and chic while missing the boat on the basic services and expectations |

its close to the train station just out of the gate walk all the way straight up so its easy to find no soap , 4 star but more like a 3 star , stuff progres slow and not profesional enough |

Die neue Sauna ist zwar klein aber sehr schön eingerichtet. die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit die Suiten sind im Verhältnis zu den neu renovierten Zimmern altbacken und lohnen sich nicht. |

Sehr nettes Personal. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker. Der Preis für das Doppelzimmer war nicht besonders günstig. Dann kam noch hinzu, dass das Frühstück nicht einbegriffen war und pro Person bei der Einnahme des Frühstücks ein beträchtlicher Betrag zusätzlich verlangt wurde. Wäre im Zimmerpreis alles inbegriffen, wäre das Ganze schon viel attraktiver. |

Zeer schone kamers die goed geschikt zijn voor mensen met allergien. Geen parkeer ruimte in het hotel vanwege verbouwing. Verbouwing was niet bekent tijdens het boeken. Ik vindt dat je als 4 sterren hotel of dicht moet tijdens een verbouwing of je moet er voor zorgen dat je gasten er helemaal geen last van hebben. Parkeren in een andere garage was niet handig en er was ook niet uitgelegd dat we wel onze koffers op een makkelijke manier konden afgeven bij het hotel. Omdat we dit niet wisten hebben we met alle koffers vanaf de parkeer garage naar het hotel moeten lopen en het bij het hotel allemaal trappen op moeten sjouwen, dat was erg onplezierig. |

GAr nichts! Wir erwarten von booking com, dass künftig angegeben wird, wenn das Hotel gerade renoviert wird. Es gab genügend andere Hotels in Freiburg und wir wollten nach einem Arbeitstag von 16 Stunden nicht auf einer Baustelle übernachten! Das Hotel ist derzeit (Sept.2009) eine Baustelle und die Zimmer werden renoviert. In dem Flur sind die Handwerker und die Baumaterialien liegen herum, alles ist staubig - eben typisch Bau-stelle. Wir bekamen ein gerade neu renoviertes Zimmer zugewiesen. Nach nur wenigen Minuten Aufenthalt im Zimmer brannten die Augen und der Hals. Die Luft roch nach Klebern, Farbe etc. - typischer Renovierungsgeruch. Auf Reklamation bekamen wir ein schon seit einigen Tagen renoviertes Zimmer. Dort sollten inzwischen die Renovierungsgerüche reduzierter sein. Ein altes, noch nicht renoviertes Zimmer stünde leider nicht zur Verfügung. Auch das zweite Zimmer roch noch sehr stark nach Renovierungsmaterialien. Érst im 3. Anlauf bekamen wir ein älteres Zimmer. |

Gut fand ich, daß das Hotel Victoria Rolläden vor dem Fenster hat und einen Safe im Schrank. Zuviele Treppenstufen bis zum Empfang, Zimmer riecht alt + muffig, kein Blick vom Zimmer auf eine Strasse (um zu sehen, wie das Wetter ist!), das Zimmer ist zu klein; das Wasser in der Dusche entweder heiß oder ganz kalt! Die Flure sind zu dunkel, abartige Blümchen vor jeder Tür in noch abartigeren Blumen-väschen..... |
