“ This is the third time I am staying at the Best Western Hotel President. I stayed at the President Club section of the Hotel which is more expensive but gives the best possible service. Rooms are spacious, coffee and tea is brought daily to the rooms. The Hotel is situated in a quirt environement within short walking distance from the fabulous KDW department store. That is where the famous shopping area of Kurfuerstendamm begins. ”

The location was first class. Easy to get anywhere in Berlin and beyond. The bed was really comfortable and the shower was invigorating! Smoking in the bar area, although that didn't appear uncommon in Berlin.

Bathroom was the worst i had ever seen. It was flooding in 30 seconds then you had to brush your teeth in your own dirty water. Bed has two small blankets totally uncomfortable room service forgot towels. Breakfast is extra money. Car park is expensive

The location is great since is in a quiet and easy to reach area. A very near U-station let get to any place in Berlin in minutes. The shopping center is few steps away and you can find anything you want. The Internet service is free and great. The room is large and comfortable. I have been in others hotel in Berlin located near to the central station and Alexander Platz but none of them offer the advantages this hotel offers you. For me, the place to stay any time I come back to Berlin. I have nothing to complain about

Staff were polite Internet, Restaurant was closed and no one intimated. Did not have dinner 1st night.

The hotel was close to a Metro station. When we showed up Friday night for check-in when the reception informed us that despite our reservation, they gave away our room. What? Yes. &Quot;We do not have a room for you." They did book us in another hotel for 1 night, then we had to check out and back in to the Best Western the next day. This was quite annoying, and they refused to compensate us in any way. Needless to say, I (and the group of friends we were traveling with) will never book another Best Western again, despite the room being just fine.

Great location. City center : close to all the shopping centers and etc. Friendly staff. pretty good value for the money. cable tv : few channels. bit outdated interior.

Staff is really helpful and nice, room was cozy, location is perfect. We ordered double bed, but it was only two beds combined to one, so in the middle there was quite big space. Also there wasn't full beauty kit, only shampoo and shower gel

We had a great stay and our room was upgrated for free! Everything was perfect (they also have a private garage if you have a car). The only negative thing is breakfast. It's a little poor, considering you have to pay € 13.50 for it. Anyway you could easily have a cheap breakfast out nearby (for example at Kamps) or choose the € 6.50 compromise breakfast downstairs at the hotel.

Location is comfortable. Front desk people very nice. This hotel is quite. Fitness room has only 4 different piece of equipment and it is soo old and some of them do not work. People smoke near the front door enterance on the street side. It will be wise to have a place for smokers several meters out from the front door

I have stayed at the hotel before, and the staff, as usual, were friendly and helpful. The location is excellent for shopping and sight seeing and the bus and underground connection is also good. On the evening of arrival the tv had snowflakes on it and the picture was not clear. I only realised this after unpacking and went straight to bed, even though I would have wanted to watch the news. But the next morning I reported it and the technician must have fixed it during the day and in the evening all was ok.

The hotel is nicely located next to U-bahn station and KaDeWe. The hotel is easy going, but a little bit dated. Personnel is poorly managed, the gm is a nice guy but lacks total overview and that is something easily and regularly mentioned in many small things. The rooms are nice but dated. WiFi is very poor as is the business centre.

The hotel has an excellent location. It is near the shopping area and the subway station, so that you can reach any place in Berlin very easily. The room was spacious. I was able to get a smoking room, which is a rarity in Berlin. The breakfast was great. Staff was friendly. I was very happy at this hotel. Couldn't have asked for more. Nothing

Great location for my meetings. Good value for money. Hotel looks a little tired. Not used to a bar where people smoke even though I know it is called the "Raucher Bar"!

Nothing. After arrival, 700 km drive, 7,5 hours I was informed that they did not have a room for us. Making a reservation and additionaly a day before I sent the information about the late arrival and request to have the room for me and the kids on the same floor. They did not do anything! Very ignorant, anti-hospitality approach.

Breakfast and location were very good. Friendly staff, their just stuck with a lackluster facility Didn't care much for this Best Western. -Have to get tickets to use the wireless, and can't use same login for phone and computer -Drains in the shower smelled terrible -Gym was out of service, could only use the sauna after 6pm -Room service took over 30 minutes to deliver a carafe of wine

It is difficult to review this as we were upgraded, so we cannot give a review of the standard room. Room was comfortable and quiet. Big bathroom with night light. Tea & coffee provided. Near zoo; rest of city walkable if feeling energetic, otherwise Wittenbergplatz metro station close by. If not using hotel, options for breakfast and dinner within walking distance. Although the "free films" channel was advertised in English the films were only available in German.
