Best Western Hotel Royal  

Our room was very good size, the ac worked very good, the room had a mini bar with inexpensive beer and goodies. The breakfast in the morning was of good quality and a nice selection of items. The hotel is about a four block walk to the historic area of Aachen but it seems to be an ok area. The hotel has their own parking lot which is a lot less expensive then the city parking garages. It was a goog stay.

The parking lot is pee gravel so its kind of hard on the suite case wheels.

The young lady who received us in the evening was superb. We forgot to book a cot but it was absolutely no problem, and within a few minutes we were settled in and our 7 month old baby asleep in his cot. The room was perfect: lots of space plus a small kitchenette which was ideal for preparing baby food and take-out dinner. The location was ideal: great for wife/child to walk into Aachen, perfect for me to drive out on business. Overall a really great experience, made perfect by the staff.

Helpful reception staff.Good location with proximity to excellent local spa facilities and old city centre.

Location

I thought the room as a small bedroom for a single traveller (though also fine for two for a short stay) was the best-appointed and most comfortable I've stayed in. I couldn't fault it, which is rare!

The car park is useful but it's hard to find a place to park while you're checking with the hotel desk what the parking procedure is.

Breakfast was good

Bathroom was poorly laid out and quite small. Internet provision expensive - t-mobile hotpsot in "business" rooms, free Internet only in lobby

very pleasant staff, hotel was exceptionally clean.

There was no cupboard space whatsoever, not even a draw on the writing desk or bedside cabinet.. No net curtains so they had to be left closed all the time for privacy. I could see into other apartments across the road including a dentist, so it goes without saying they could also see in my room

Very friendly and helpful lobby service at night. Helped to find a 24h pharmacy at 02:00 in the morning.

Gastvrijheid en ontvangst van het hotelpersoneel zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Kamer was heel snel klaar (11.00 uur). Het ontbijt was erg goed.

De kamer die wij kregen was niet de kamer die wij geboekt hadden. Wij hadden een businesskamer geboekt en kregen een soort appartement met kitchenette. Niet geheel volgens boeking; kamer was kleiner; badkamer zonder bad maar prima voor een nacht.

De vriedelijkheid van het personneel..en de parking faciliteit..

الحمام صغير وليس الذي موضح بالصوره عند الحجز و يجب ازاله الصوره ووضع الصوره الحقيقيه التلفاز وضع بمكان غير مناسب عدم توفر مياه معدنيه يوميا فقط في اول يوم؟!

freundliches Personal, Zimmer nach hinten gelegen sehr ansprechend und durch die kitchinette noch attraktiver, tolle Kissen für erholsamen schlaf

das Frühstück für 15 € p.P. etwas spärlich aber man muß es ja nicht nehmen

Wij vonden beiden de dame die dagdienst had achter de receptie enorm vriendelijk en goed in haar werk, zo goed dat als wij elkaar zeiden dat we koffie wilden bestellen, ze er direct met koffie aankwam nog voor we bestelden. Ook heeft ze ons goede aanbevelingen gedaan voor lunch en diner, en zelfs de reserveringen voor ons verzorgd. Ze gaf ons echt het gevoel dat de klant nog telt!

Bij aankomst was het wat fris in de kamer, dit heeft ze direct opgelost door een straalkachel te plaatsen.
