Best Western Savoy Hotel Düsseldorf    

We liked everything about the hotel but particularly the welcome and friendliness of the staff who are exceptionally nice. We also felt that the bedrooms and bathrooms were very comfortable for the guest and that the overall décor was lovely. The hotel was also spotlessly clean.

Breakfast staff was very friendly. We had wonderful breakfast time.

Internet was not working at all, 4 days. The receptionists don't really care that the internet in the rooms is not working in the whole hotel, their answer was "We have in receptionist's room". The compensation for that "problem" was free beers at the hotel bar, which was not working these 3 days too. Additionally the night shift was really rude.

Nice location between railway station and city center , reach breakfast ,well-come drink ,value for money.

Small rooms and narrow corridors .

Very convenient for the railway station and city centre. Rooms at the back are quiet. Good breakfast.

The hotel was quite old. The money that i paid was expensive for such a hotel. Car park and breakfast was very expensive too

Very friendly and helpful staff, both at reception and in restaurant. Breakfast fare excellent in range and quality very good.

The single room I was in, no.218, was very good for cleanliness and facilities but was somewhat constricted, especially the toilet; otherwise all OK.

It was comfortable, service was good and the breakfast was varied and plentiful.

The water for the shower was very changeable. One minute cold, the next minute scolding.

They insist i paid my hotel even I showed my booking through Booking.com and i told them that the card company would bill me again and the reception asked me where the bill if the card had billed me. I explained them that I had not received the bill from the bank yet. what such a silly question. I had travelled so many places and none occured such a thing. They insisted me to pay the hotel fee. THe more i explained them the more they insisted me to pay the hotel bill.

Was close to Alstadt and easy to access the Messe.

Rooms were pretty small (but fairly comfortable).

Location, cleanliness

They tried to give us a room without air conditioning, then told us it would cool down later. Any traveler that was not assertive, or was intimidated by the language barrier, would have been stuck in an uncomfortable room. They relocated us only when I specifically requested it. So, in the end they took care of it, but they were less than honest initially.

Very nice breakfast buffet. Clean hotel and quite calm.

Wifi is very poor, not possible to connect from the room. But from the bar or lobby is fine. I also booked a business room, but nothing in the room was as described when I got there.

Friendly and helpful staff, very good location, just 5 minutes from "Ko", the main street with restaurants, shops etc.

I booked a Business room online, website shows free beer and soft drinks and fresh fruit. I was given fresh fruit only day one and I was told at reception only free soft drinks. It didn't pay for me to upgrade

Great location in the very center of the city. Subway station just a few steps away. Main train station around the corner! Free Wi-Fi!

A cleaning lady started knocking on the door with a Do not disturb sign one morning. Later the same lady forgot to bring in a clean towel (the gentleman at the reception made his best to make up for it, however, by providing a bath robe and slippers). The interior of the hotel is somewhat outdated. You have to ask for a new password for the Wi-Fi every day.
