Best Western Atrium Hotel  

Good breakfast, really friendly staff, fast internet, nearness of parking places

No mini bar in hotel room (this is not usual for 4*)

We had stayed at the sister hotel of this the week earlier and were expecting the same quality. The lady on reception was very friendly, pity the hotel didn't match her.

This is exactly the opposite of it's sister hotel in Regensburg.. The nicest part is the outside. But when you enter the lobby you know it was a bad choice.. Again the joke about this is that's it's supposed to be a 4 star. At best it's a 2 star. It's dark and dismal. The rooms look horrible, though clean they have a uninviting look about them, so much so if I had not guaranteed them with my credit card I would have left

We stayed at Best Western Atrium Hotel when transiting through Germany. The hotel can be best described as somewhat boring and located in a somewhat sad area of Regensburg. The stay was satisfactory since it fulfilled our purpose (transit). However, I will describe the hotel as average in every meaning: room, location, breakfast and value for money. One big plus - very comfortable beds. Not so sure if this is a four-star hotel though, more in the lower three-star category. The hotel is located in a business park located around 3 km from Regensburg city centre. The distance is a little bit too long to walk. There are some restaurants nearby. Avoid the Chinese. Good service but the food is an insult to other Chinese restaurants!

The hotel might consider installing air conditioning. The hotel might also consider an update in the breakfast. The hotel comes across as dull and could benefit from a overall upgrade in decoration and colours to make it more attractive. The area was pretty noisy during our stay and not as quiet as described. Slightly disappointing stay since we had higher expectations to a German 4-star category hotel.

The hotel was just a few minutes walk from the arena where the Regensburg marathon started, which was great for my husband. It was a very clean, tidy, western-style hotel.

It was loud. The walls were paper thin, and we didn't get much sleep the night before our race. It was also a hot night and we tried opening the window, but the sound from people outside just reverberated right into our room. I usually never have a problem sleeping, but I slept terribly the night we were here. We would not have stayed in this location that is so far away from the old town except that it was close to the Regensburg Marathon arena, so for dinner we had to drive to the old town and find a place to park.

Preis-Leistungsverhältnis für ein Wochenende sehr gut. Das Frühstücksbuffett hat keine Wünsche offen gelassen. Danke dem freundichen und umsichtigen Personal.

Frühstücksbuffet war etwas dürftig, fand auch den ganzen Ablauf beim Frühstück relativ hektisch und laut

Ruhige und sehr geräumige Zimmer, kostenfreie Parkplätze, gutes und reichhaltiges Frühstück, sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter

Lage im Industriegebiet; Kosten für Internetzugang, der grundsätzlich im Zimmerpreis enthalten sein sollte

Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir wren sehr zufrieden mit Ihnen.

Als einziges was uns gefehlt hat ist eine Möglichkeit CD abzuspielen ( meistens am Fernseher möglich) durch schlechtes Wetter war Fernsehen nicht möglich, Ein CD Spieler hätte da geholfen.
