Best Western Hotel Cristal  

It's in a great location short walk to main train station and walking distance to city centre. The room is a good size and very comfortable.

First hotel I had to pay for wifi and I have stayed in 2 star ones that had it for free and it was the slowest connection.

Everything was great

Location is great, but right across the street you have the more convincing hotel now with a better and more customer oriented service

Bar keeper was rude and didn't even know how to prepare standard drinks. Very bureaucratic process to get breakfast (sign twice, fill in your details twice, etc.) I have been a nearly weekly customer in this hotel until 5 years ago, since then the performance of the staff worsened significantly

Everything was great, even the location was good.

Very good customer service. We arrived in the morning at 8am. We knew it was too early to check in and we only hoped that there might be some empty rooms. Unfortunately, there were no rooms, but the staff offered six of us free breakfast which is usually 15euro/person.

the location of the hotel is the best for traveling by the train to other countries. And not so far from the centre of the city.

Good solid option: helpful staff, clean, excellent breakfast, good location, parking at the basement. After staying two nights decided to stay there again at the end of the trip.

Rooms facing the street are very noisy.

Location. Value for money. Good size rooms. Very very cheap (almost free) minibar. Late checkout.

Staff was very nice and facilities were clean and in good condition. Also had a locked room to drop off luggage before checking time

No free wifi. Stayed at several hotels in uk, de and cz. This was the only one that did not provide at least some free wifi

Having read reviews regarding outside noise when we asked for a quiet room the very helpful receptionist ensured we got exactly what we asked for. Tea and coffee making facilities arent automatically provided but were speedily delivered to the room when requested and re-plenished.

Had to pay for wifi. In five weeks of travelling thru uk and Europe this was the only hotel to charge. Restaurant staff were confused and disorganised.

Stable quality and value for money.

Located near central station and 20 min by walk to down town.

First night I took a room on 4th floor, old and broken furniture and the hall street noises was inside my room and I couldn't sleep at all, I paid extra 20 euro per night to change to 5th floor on the back side of the hotel it was perfect.

Very Central, Great location but very quiet. My room was clean, perfect for a shopping trip.

We had two rooms and one of the bathrooms was not very clean. Disappointing. Wifi connection was very bad and was too expensive.

They only had 1 english speaking tv station that ran on a loop, CNN. It would have been nice to have a movie staiton or the abilty to order movies in english.

The rooms at the hotel were very comfortable - good beds, large and clean. The location was great - 3 minutes walk from the Grand Central Station and the subway, and in walking distance of the main shopping street and of Marienplatz. Close to the Oktoberfest. The staff wrere very friendly.

The location was also the worst about the hotel the was a lot of noise from the street. We stayed at the hotel during Oktoberfest, and I expect that the noise was worse than usual. The temperature of the water coming out of the shower changed constantly, which was irritating.

Beautiful room and bathroom with a large counter and great lighting. Ok restaurant, but liked the bar and Sean, the bartender. We went there every day so he could make us a drink. Hotel was in a good location. Good atmosphere with a large lobby.

No way to get the luggage up to the room or back down for checkout. Charged too much for breakfast.
