BEST WESTERN Hotel Scala  

Stayed for one night on a stopover in Frankfurt and this fit the bill perfectly. Easy transport from the airport and great convenient location for restaurants , shopping, Christmas markets. Breakfast buffet has everything you could need for breakfast. Would recommend for short stay to see city.

My room was on the 8th floor so an ok view. Some street noise if window open but not bothersome at all.

Located in Zeil Centre, a perfect place for shopping and walking around.

Mattress is too soft. There's no kettle which is supposed to be available in any hotel. Room rate is bit high. Breakfast is expensive (14Euro)

It's location, comfortable bed

It's design, booked a business room, but was nothing worth it for the extra value ( was told that I was staying in a new designed room with airco and that the other room's had no such thing), the bath room is very small and very cheap. There is a flat screen, but the only international channels are either tv5 ( if the channel reception is good, or cnn) appart from that nothing else than german channels, the breakfast is a ripp-off ( cost a fortune for very poor quality, they dont even come and offer you some coffee) I wonded go back there.

Good location. The receptionist is very helpful and friendly.

The sound proof between room is terrible, I can hear the people next door talking very loudly. The elevator is very old, and you only have a few second to push out the door before it closed out. The room is very hot and although a fan is provided, it was placed above the wardrobe which is beyond reach.

The centric location

There were footsteps on my chair when I arrived and they were there when I left 6 days later, it seems the cleaning personal did not to their job.

Excellent location, Comfort Business room was small but very comfortable. Great service from the front desk and free in-room wi-fi was very quick.

Corridors are quite cramped, a problem if you have large bags.

Perfect Location (near zeil shopping mile), excellent breakfast, very helpful staff, good choice for ladies travelling alone, nice rooms,

Location excellent for shopping etc. a little noisy at night, but other than that everything was fine.

The location of the hotel is very good, close to Zeil, only a 5 minutes walk to Konstablerwache station. The staff was really helpful and professional. The hotel seemed new, or recently refurbished. The room was very clean and confortable, with a minibar. The breakfast was complete, with eggs, sausages, various breads, juices, cheeses, etc. The first day the receptionist suggested me an italian restaurant close to the hotel, which I found very good, with an excellent house wine. I don´t have anything to complain about my stay. I left my luggage at the hotel after I checked out, and I felt very safe. When I came back, the receptionist asked if I would like to go to the restroom. There were towels to the guests, what I found a good final touch. I would definitely stay here again.
