Best Western Hotel München Airport    

Bad return on the money ,paid 400 euro per 2 nights and could get a clean reasonable towel , bed did not face tv , half of the room was roof style , never again

It's a clean fascility. Very simple. I like that.

Some of the receptionists were unfriendly due to the fact that the competion does not exist nearby.

The night porter who was the only person of any focus on the customer or cared .

Waiting for 55 minutes for the shuttle bus in -4,c after being told it would arrive in 10 minutes, 3 calls later being each time told it would arrive in 10 mins. The buffet was appalling & stewed when I asked for fresh was told that there was no more. When 30 minutes later when I had finished the rubbish a cancelled Lufthansa flight arrived -the buffet was refurbished with fresh.[disgraceful] Having arrived late and a early flight I requested that I could have early check out! The manager agreed. I tried to check out and was rudely told that early check out was not possible and was told pointedly I would have to get up earlier and check out as I left the hotel. After this person had finished shift the night porter said no problem and checked me out of the hotel. I requested the shuttle bus for 06.30 and was told it only runs every hour on the hour. I asked for a taxi at 06.30 and got the shuttle bus and had to pay 40 euros for a 10 minute drive. I am Managing Director of a Consultancy and just closed a contract that will mean regular trips to Munich for myself and agents. I nor my agents will stay at this hotel again I have a Best Western Platinum card stay in hotels all over the world and think I can see a bad one!

Upon arrival at the reception asked Visa card. Then blocked on the amount of one night's hotel accommodation. On departure, we will calculate the full per stay (2 days). Blocked amount I get a month. We travel a lot. Never, not in a hotel of Europe does not.

Room was okay, nothing to complain, but nothing really special. First I was put to smoking room but after that I got non smoking. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, maybe only in emergency case.

TIhis place is really bad! There is no food available between breakfast and evening. Then you have to pay 28 euros per person for a ride to airport. Normal taxi is like 35 euros. There is nothning close to the hotel. I would not ever recommend this.

The room was clean and usable.

It was a long way from Munich Airport nearly 20km. An inter connecting door between another bedroom and ours had been left unlocked by staff !

Reception staff Female reception manager on my arrival was unwelcoming , surly, uncooperative, not interested. If I could have cancelled my reservation at that arrival point I would have most certainly done so. Appalling attitude !!!

I was appalled to learn that on at least one night of our stay at the Best Western Hotel Munchen-Airport there was absolutely no clerk working at the front desk during the late night. My wife had occasion to call down to the front desk concerning a question she had regarding the television channels. After numerous unanswered phone calls, she went to the front desk. It took her 15 minutes to find a clerk that possessed a nametag of Alexander. When my wife inquired why there was no one at the front desk he became argumentative implying that he was there the whole time. The next morning, during our check out, I spoke with a supervisor with the hotel by the name of Robert Britscka. When I advised him of the total lack of security the evening before he assured my wife and I that we were mistaken and that there are always at least 2 people at the front desk in the overnight. Needless to say our conversation was not satisfactory. After already having stayed at the Best Western Stiegl Brau in Salzburg, Austria, the week before, this hotel rates a zero for security issues alone as well as administration oversight. The simple fact that they leave the front desk unattended for any length of time and then deny it leaves a traveller in a precarious position - especially an American tourist. Please note that this review is not a black on booking.com. It is merely a wakeup call to everyone to dutifully and independently review all recommended hotels prior to booking through any service. Further be advised that I will be forwarding a copy of this to the Best Western main office to alert them to this loosely independently owned and loosely operated affiliate. Clean Hotel. Very good location for access to the airport and the trains.

Very over priced for the room type during Octoberfest. Poor amenities considering the high cost of the room. They charge 28 euro to shuttle you to the airport. This is typically free at most 4 star Hotels. In my opinion this Hotel is not a 4 based on the services, room style and shuttle fee.

It is close to the Munich Airport but not in the big city. Food and amenities close by.

It was quiet enough for sleeping and the room air conditioner worked well.

The staff seemed snobby, like it was an imposition to ask them for anything. When asked, in German, if they spoke English, the reply was like "Well, if I have to." The whole experience was off-putting. Plus, the name of the hotel makes you think you are close to the airport. Ha! Had heard too many questionable opinions to trust the shuttle service so we used the rail system to get to the airport. The cost of the shuttle, had we used it, and the cost of the breakfast buffet, had we indulged, were way out of line. Room came with two twin beds for my wife and I. I believe the website promised double bed.

I chose it for it's location to the airport. It really wasn't that close. I thought the price of the shuttle to the airport was very high. The room we had faced west. It was very hot when we walked in. Although they stated they had fans, they couldn't provide us one. We had to keep the windows open as well as our door to the hall. (Their suggestion). The price we paid and the extra price for breakfast and shuttle made this hotel totally unacceptable.

How can this hotel be called 'Munchen Airport? It's a 30 Euro taxi ride from the airport. Had I known how far away it was I would never have booked. Probably should have checked but I simply believed that 'Muchen Airport' was exactly that

Location in Erding was a very pleasant surprise. A very cute town with a great Brewery (Erdinger Weisbrau) which provided a very wonderful brauhaus meal.

This hotel should not be advertised as "Munich Airport" as it is 25 Km from the airport and the charge for a shuttle service is $28 Euro each way per person. This is unreasonable. However, if one has a car, it is a terrific location and therefore, worth the stay. The Hotel should make aware the cost of the shuttle on the Booking.com website.

The room was clean and comfortable. In addition, it was walking distance from the train station (800 m).

The hotel is is located 16 km from the Munich airport (which was not what I expected from an "Airport hotel"). Because of the great distance, their shuttle van cost 29 Euro each way and only travels once per hour. Cab fare is 40 Euro.

It is not at the airport. It takes over an hour to get there when you land. It also is over an hour from city. I felt misled

Nähe zum Flughafen und zur Therme . Sehr freundliches Team an der Rezeption. Parkmöglichkeit während Urlaub und Shuttleservice zum Flughafen klappt toll.

Lästige Diskussion am frühen Morgen beim Eintritt zum Frühstück vor allen Gästen, ob Frühstück inklusive, obwohl dies lt. Buchung eindeutig bestätigt wurde. Fehler können überall passieren, ohne Entschuldigung hat es aber so ausgesehen, als ob man uns das Frühstück großzügigerweise schenken würde.

De bediening achter de bar viel tegen niet de klantvriendelijkste.

Einziger Pluspunkt des Aufenthalts war daß das Hotel sehr nahe an der Therme Erding liegt !!!

Personal war bei Ankunft nicht unbedingt sehr freundlich. Im Zimer befand sich nur ein großes Badetuch , für 2 Personen !! Im Frühstüchsraum stand das Ameisengiftpulver sichtbar und für kleine Kinder zugänglich in einem offenen Regalschrank ,bei diesem Anblick schmeckte einem das Frühstück besonders lecker !!! Am 3.Tag( Sonntag) kam morgens nur kaltes Wasser , nach Rückfrage beim Personal heißt es , man weiß es nicht an was es liegt ( Ein Blick auf die Heizungssteuerung hätte gezeigt daß der Heizkessel ausgefallen war und kein Warmwasser macht !!! ) Alles im allen entspricht dieses Hotel keinem 4 sterne Hotel und das Preisleistungsangebot stimmt auch nicht !!

Tolle Buffets am Abend, freundliches Personal, Termenpaket

Dass es das Thermenpaket nur einmal gab und es im Hotel kein upgrade gab, und somit das zweite Doppelzimmer wesentlich teurer kam. Dass es keine vergünstigte Eintrittskarten für die Therme gab
