The hotel is just accross the street from the main train station and only minutes from the city centter. No kingsize beds and poor TV quality.

We chose it because of combination of price. location and other guest reviews. We also valued the inclusive breakfast.The location was excellent.The staff were really nice and helpful. The pleasant staff were a real feature of the hotel. Nothing although I would have loved tea and coffee facilties in the room - I think this is not a German thing!

Located next to the central train station Victor's residence, Leipzig is the ideal hotel for business travellers. It's central location places you within a five minute walk of some if Leipzig's tourist locals and ten from the old city center. The rooms are small but clean. Service is friendly and speak English very well. The breakfast buffet is an excellent way to start any day. It's open from 06:30, so it's easy to make any early meeting sated and ready to go. My experience with German beds and pillows has been a struggle. The beds are often way too soft for my taste and the pillows too flat and square to provide any support. Sadly, Victor's residence is part of the rule and not the exception. The bed was clean but not very comfortable. For a short stay business trip this is fine. For a longer or more relaxing visit I would have preferred something more comfortable. But I realize that it's simply a matter of opinion.

It was warm cosy and yet with a certain luxuriousness. A gentleman's hotel. The breakfast was excellent.. The service was excellent. Housekeeping excellent and unobtrusive. Most of all the location was perfect for those who wants to make Lripzich a base to explore the nearby cities such as Wittenberg, Wemar, etc

Leipzig is a very beautiful city. I was surprised. The hotel is really beautiful. And the staff is helpful and friendly. The wifi connection at the room is poor. I had to use my notebook at the lobby.

We booked this hotel becuse the location is very central and breakfast was included in the price. The breakfasts were excellent. This was a return visit to Leipzig after many years. We first came as students in 1975! The main thing we did was to go to the superb opera house to see Wagner's Parsifal on Good Friday. We also found the Stasi museum fascinating.A Visit to Aubach's Cellar was a must - we spent a few nights in there in 1975 - it was a proper beer keller then! It has changed a lot since then. It is a lovely restaurant now - we ate there after the opera and it was excellent. A wonderful city with a fascinating past and exciting future - we love Leipzig!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice room with excellent shower. Free wifi. My room was just above a tram line which was rather noisy. This was the only downside of the hotel.

Staff is friendly. Rooms are clean and quiet. Breakfastbuffet is nice. Free wifi is only free for one day. After that you have to pay 9 euro's per day.

Lage direkt am Hauptbahnhof. Kein Taxitransporti notwendig. Der Straßenlärm dringt deutich hörbar in die Zimmer. Bei uns sogar im 5.Stock. Ausstattung des Zimmers und der Speisen im Restaurant entsprachen nur 3 Sterne Standart. Billiges Toilettenpapier. Dünne Handtücher zu dünne Bettdecken (Schlafanzug erforderlich) Schimmelbildung in der Duschkabine

Sehr freundliche und zuvorkommende Mitarbeiter. Stets hilfsbereit. Geschmackvolle Einrichtung des Zimmers. Bequeme Betten. Schönes, geräumiges Badezimmer. Sehr schönes Gesamtambiente und hervorragende Lage für eine Städtereise. Die frischen Zutaten (Z.B. Tomaten, Obst) des sonst sehr reichhaltigen Frühstücksbuffets wurden in der Woche sehr sparsam erneuert oder gerne am nächsten Tag wiederverwendet. Bis ca. 23.00 Uhr auf der ganzen Etage und auch im Zimmer laute Lüftungsanlage. Diese wurde zum Glück ab 23.00 Uhr bis ca. 06.00 Uhr abgeschaltet.

Es ist zentral gelegen und mit dem Auto gut erreichbar. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Wir waren bereits zum dritten Mal in diesem Hotel. Die Minibar im Schrank geht zu lasten der Wäscheablage der Gäste. Eine separate Minibar wäre angebracht. Das Fernsehgerät ist etwas sehr veraltet.

Ausgesprochen nette und kompetente Mitarbeiter, sehr zentrale Lage. Vom Hotel ist der Bahnhof und die Innenstadt unmittelbar zu Fuß zu erreichen. Das Restaurant passt im Stil überhaupt nicht zum Hotel. Essen ist zwar recht preiswert aber auch nur mittelmaessig. Die Getränkepreise, insbesondere Spirituosen, sind überteuert (Grappa: 8,80 €, die ganze Flasche war im Einkauf nur unwesentlich teurer).

Prima service, vriendelijk personeel, schone kamer, centraal gelegen, verzorgd ontbijt Geen tegenvallers. Wel zou het handig zijn als de parkeerfaciliteiten wat betere aangegeven worden als je met de auto voor het hotel staat.
