The Schloss is very photogenic and well worth exploring.
The Schloss is very photogenic and well worth exploring. We were attending an opera performance in the theatre which is a first-class venue. There is a good choice of restaurants in the town. We also hired bikes to explore the countryside of Mark.

A charming town in Brandenburg 1.5 hours drive from Berlin. The locals are friendly and the food in the restaurants is superb! Try the boat tour and spend some time in Schloss Rheinberg. For dining, I highly recommend the AlteFritz Restaurant.

Very nice old village, situated beautifully by the lake.
Very nice old village, situated beautifully by the lake. Schloss Rheinsberg and its vast gardens are very well worth a visit. Excellent little restaurant called "Seehof" offers fantastic food, very friendly staff (also dog-friendly!), and fair prices (3 course meal = €32).

Good-quality continental breakfast cold buffet (no hot food) provided in a communal dining area. Food is fresh (including bread and pastries) and good choice provided. Filter coffee provided on every table in a thermos jug - nice touch avoiding need to queue.
