Lack of a lift, distance from town
We had two very quiet, comfortable rooms, though it was a challenge
getting up the stairs with all our luggage (no lift). The man at the
front desk was very helpful, however, and carried my heavy bag for me.
My room had a balcony, but my partner had only windows. The hotel itself
is quite rural and requires a car for getting into town. That added to
its charm, however, making it quiet and pleasant for a weekend stay.
Breakfast was included and had plenty of hot and cold options. If
you're traveling on the weekend, note that the restaurant takes its
last seating at 8:45pm, and it is a very popular restaurant, so parking
and seating can be a challenge. Food and wine were very good in a lovely
atmosphere with fireplace (fake, but nice nonetheless), and prices were
as expected, from 10-30 Euro.
