Freindly staff and service and great breakfast There was nothing we didnt like, but found it hards to get use to only having a quilt over us without a top sheet which was the case all over Europe. We were either hot with it or cold without it.

Very nice hotel with very friendly staff. Excellent, freshly cooked breakfast too. Good wi-fi in the room and parking available in front of the hotel. Comfortable room with nice bathroom. Very reasonably priced mini-bar in the room too. I enjoyed my stay. Checking in after 2100 didn't seem possible so I had to ensure I was there before that time. Anyone travelling a long distance or through Friday traffic might struggle to arrive before the 2100 cut-off.

The Birnbaumhof was beautifully located in a small rural village just outside Ramstein Air Force Base where you can get away from the big city and enjoy the comfort and friendliness of a small town. The proprietor was very nice and really welcomed you into their place. The room was very clean and large enough to relax. The breakfast was perfect and I was presented with their specialty of scrambled eggs with ham. I would recommend this place for anyone wanting to get away from it all. It is also close to a number of bike routes and they cater to many of the cycling community.

It is run by family members and I was really surprised how they made me feel like I was part of their family. Even thought there were other guests staying there, they made me feel like I was their only guest. I would recommend this place to anyone who asks!

Excellent service, careful attention to detail and immaculate throughout. Charming and obliging owners made for a very relaxing stay. Spacious, comfortable and well appointed rooms, we liked the three views of gardens and woodland/fields from three different windows in our apartment. Breakfast was great and fresh eggs cooked to order very enjoyable. For dinner, good, simple food in Schwedelbach is available only 5 mins walk. We recommend the 20 min walk across the ridge to a very nice restaurant in the next village (sorry name escapes me) to the North East, otherwise local eating choices are limited. Very conveniently located for Airbase (5 mins in car) but you would not know it is nearby - pleasant feeling of detachment. Could not have asked for more for the price. Would book again with confidence and recommend to friends.
