fantastic surroundings good value for money would definitely stay there again.

We live in Luxembourg and my wife and I wanted to get on a night without the children for once. The hotel is only 50 km. away from our house and it was nice not to drive too far. We had a nice and relaxing stay, good food and a nice walk around the lake the next morning.

When you check in you get 2 vouchers for a dring in the bar. We did not go there just bedause it was for free but we actually wanted to get a dring before our dinner and we might as well use the vouchers then. Well ..... the wouchers was a joke. you could choose between an alcoholic drink and a non alcoholic dring. The dring was a joke and I will recommend the hotel either not to give give any free drings away or to give a dring and not something strange in a small glass pipe.

I like the quiet of the location of this resort. I also like the varied choice of lodging (hotel rooms, apartments, cottages). We stayed in a cottage and was very pleased. Though the decor was very dated, it was clean and roomy (we had a 3 bedroom, 2 bath). Frequently we made a fire in the fireplace. I appreciated that we had space to stretch out and because the cottages are independent of each other, we had privacy, as well. As part of the rate of our lodging, we had the buffet breakfast in the main hotel. It was very good and had a large variety of choices. There was an area with toys for the children, which helped keep them happy while the adults finished their meal.

The cottages and apartments are quite a distance from the main hotel and its' services. There is a road up to the cottages and apartments which is quite steep and narrow. However, I found out on this trip (i'd stayed here once before) that there is an alternate route around the lake which is much safer, though farther to drive. Otherwise, there is an internal hallway, with elevators, which you can walk to get from the apartments to the main house. It takes over 5 minutes, maybe longer if walking with small children. The resort offers Kinderland, for small children. However, it was not made clear to me that they will only watch children over 3 years old. Some of the staff were quite nice and sweet with the children, but during our stay there was mostly a male worker who staffed Kinderland, who seemed quite disinterested with the kids and was not friendly. Additionally, I do not like leaving my young daughters in the care of a man I do not know, especially when there was only one worker there at a time. Others may feel differently though.

Free access to the on-site swimming pool was an added bonus that I was not expecting and was very much appreciated

We did not use most of the facilities whilest staying but all the staff were professional and most friendly, fully recommend and will use again.

The Lake

That the maid never came and cleaned the room or the towels changed in 4 days. I had to ask for the towels to be changed and get them myself. The bar staff were lazy and ignorant. Not customer facing in any way

Prachtige ligging. Zeer rustig, weg van het geraas van verkeer. Zeer gezellige hotelbar "Bitstube". (Bitburger bier, heerlijk) Hotel voorzien van alle comfort. In de nabijheid van prachtige winkelstad Trier. Brouwerij in Bitburg zeer de moeite waard.

Alles was goed. En als je wat rondrijdt zie je een mooie omgeving.

Niets wat je niet kan verwachten voor de prijs/kwaliteit

Centrale ligging in Zuid Eiffel gebied. Zeer ruim appartement voor 2 personen. Veel (sport)voorzieningen Naar onze mening zeer luxe zwembad met fraai Spa-gedeelte Uitstekend ontbijt Zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel

Enigszins verouderd interieur in de appartementen (in verhouding tot hotel gedeelte) Verouderde bowlingbaan

De vriendelijkheid en gedienstigheid van de medewerkers. De ligging aan de Stausee is schitterend. Alle voorzieningen waren aanwezig en prima in orde.

Prachtige locatie en uitvalbasis voor wandelingen. Zeer goed zwembad!
